YouTuber-cum-boxer Logan Paul is set to face none other than the legendary Floyd Mayweather for a super exhibition fight on 20th February next year. However, just after a week of its official announcement, Logan fuels a fire against his next adversary- a cheeky poke at Mayweather’s height.
Fifteen times world champion Floyd Mayweather (50-0, 27 KOs) is 5 ft 8 in (173 cm) tall and has dominated five weight classes from super featherweight up to light middleweight.
Logan Paul in comparison towers at 6 ft 2 in (188 cm) and made his professional debut in the cruiserweight division against fellow YouTuber KSI on 9th November last year at the STAPLES Center.
He’s so small: Logan Paul digs at Floyd Mayweather’s height
Months before taking on “Money”, Logan takes to Instagram and pokes fun regarding the height difference between Mayweather and himself.
Logan shared an edited photo where he is looking down at Mayweather inside the ring, along with the caption: “50 and oh my god he’s small @floydmayweather”
The image is actually an edited version of the famous photo of Muhammad Ali and his six-year-old fan Patrick Power, where Logan’s face is swapped with Ali and the little boy is replaced with Mayweather.
While many in the boxing fandom have expressed their annoyance over a matchup between Mayweather and Logan, from the difference in their boxing career as well as weight classes, both fighters themselves have been hyping up the bout.
However, those are not the only difference between the pugilists. Recently, the pay split of both fighters from the fight was leaked to the masses, according to a claim made by entertainment reporter Daniel Keem
On his YouTube channel DramaAlert, Keem asserted that Mayweather is estimated to land a whopping £5 million plus 50% of all PPV sales. On the other hand, Logan Paul will take home $200,000 up front and only 5% of all PPV sales,
