Kyle Larson’s return to the Chili Bowl Nationals 2024 got off to a catastrophic start. Kyle Larson pulled off a late entry to the Chili Bowl nationals on Tuesday and was scheduled to race on Thursday at the SageNet center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kyle Larson a two-time Chili Bowl champion got off to a tricky start to his first heat race. Larson’s car flipped just moments after the race started. Kyle Larson still somehow managed to finish fifth in the heat race.

Larson started his Chili Bowl Nationals 2024 campaign on a terrible note but still has a chance to qualify for Saturday’s Chili Bowl A-Main. Kyle Larson has a long and rocky path ahead on his way to qualification for Saturday Chili Bowl A-Main.
Chili Bowl 2024 not over for Kyle Larson
Kyle Larson will be starting second in a C-Main and he will need to finish fourth or higher to advance to a B-Main. From there, he will need to finish top four in a B-Main to qualify for Thursday’s A-Main. Once he’s in Thursday’s A-Main, he will need to finish first or second to assure himself a starting spot in Saturday’s Chili Bowl A-Main.
Larson previously criticized the Chili Bowl Nationals and decided to boycott one the biggest midget car racing events on the planet, but Larson had a change of mind and decided to ring Keith Kunz and ask him for a car to race in the Chili Bowl Nationals 2024. Though many fans were excited about the two-time Chili Bowl champion returning to the event after a 1-year gap, their excitement was short-lived after Kyle”Yung Money” Larson’s car went upside down just minutes after the race started.

These situations are nothing new for Kyle Larson, he will be eyeing to win the rest of the races and confirm his spot in the Chili Bowl Nationals 2024 Main event.
