Kurt Angle, himself known as a tremendous in-ring worker, named a quartet of WWE legends to be in his list of the best in-ring workers of all time.
KURT ANGLE IS WIDELY KNOWN TO BE AN IMPRESSIVE IN-RING PERFORMER
Throughout his career, the only Olympic Gold Medalist in pro wrestling history has been known for his impressive in-ring performances. Since signing with WWE, he adapted to the pro wrestling style very soon, and then went on to deliver major classics throughout his pro wrestling career, which ended by the hands of Baron Corbin. Among other accomplishments in the WWE, he has held the WWE Championship four times, the WCW Championship once, and the World Heavyweight Championship once.
ACCORDING TO HIM, HIS TOP FOUR CONSISTS OF FOUR WWE LEGENDS
According to Angle, his favourite four in-ring workers are Shawn Michaels, Triple H, The Undertaker and Stone Cold Steve Austin. He worked with all four of them in his prime, and his choices do not surprise any of his fans.
According to “The Olympic Hero”, the four wrestlers had the ability to create amazing matches on the fly. He said about them: “Shawn is such a pro, I mean. You know, I would say him, Undertaker, Triple H, and Stone Cold are four of the best in-ring workers that can produce, you know, great matches on the fly. They can call it out there. They can do anything. They can call the whole match. They can call a part of it. They can just call it in the ring. So, you know, what I meant by calling the match, calling the match beforehand or calling the match beforehand part of the match, or calling the match while you’re in the ring, is what I meant. They can do all of them. They were really just that talented and that experienced.”
Angle admitted that he did not have the amount of confidence to not rehearse and call a match entirely on the fly, and he was five or six years into his pro wrestling career. However, the four he named possessed this ability, and that was why he respected their talents to this extent.
