Everything You Need To Know About King Of The Table 3

King Of The Table 3, the third installment of the top drawer arm wrestling tournament is set to take place at the Strong Gym HQ in Dubai on 2nd April this year, after being postponed from its original date of March 26th. Following the huge success of the first and second King Of The Table events last year, taking place in May and December respectively, KOTT 3.0 is expected to be another superb arm wrestling event with its main event featuring one of the most anticipated matches of all time- Alex Kurdecha taking on Dave Chaffee, along with a stacked undercard featuring the best of the best when it comes to the sport.

KOTT 3 main event to feature arm wrestling legends Alex Kurdecha vs Dave Chaffee

The main event of King of the Table 3 will see two of the strongest arm wrestlers of this generation, Alex Kurdecha and Dave Chaffee on the table. Kurdecha, the 2014 Polish Champion and 2017 Zloty Tur +105 kg bronze medallist will be up against PAL International Super heavyweight Champion and WAF World Champion Chaffee, the latter who replaced Russian arm wrestler Vitaly Laletin in early March.

Aside from the highly competitive Kurdecha vs Chaffee matchup in the main event, KOTT 3 has a star-studded undercard. Two of the greatest female arm wrestlers ever- eight time European and World Arm Wrestling Champion as well as eleven time Swedish Arm Wrestling Champion Sarah “Phenom” Backman will be taking on 28 times world champion and professional gymnast coach Gabi Vasconcelos aka the “Iron Angel”.

The event will also feature superheavyweight arm wrestling icon Wagner Bortolato aka “Big Head Bortalato” aiming for a winning return against “The Gladiator” Ermes Gasparini, four time World Champion and Multi-time European Champion making his second KOTT appearance after the second edition of the event in December.

Another highly anticipated match between bodybuilder-cum-arm wrestler Larry Wheels and rising arm wrestling and MMA sensation Khaled Jashell was also added to the undercard in March. Wheels, famed in the bodybuilding scene, has become a popular figure in arm wrestling and was part of both the first and second editions of KOTT and will take on Khaled, the Cameroonian who rose to the limelight after breaking millennium dumbbell along with several other grip strength records. A friend of MMA superstar Francis Ngannou, Khaled made his arm wrestling debut by defeating Schoolboy, one of the strongest on the table, with just two months of training.
