Who Is Kysre Gondrezick?
Kysre Gondrezick, a recognizable face in women’s basketball, has made waves despite her modest stats with the Chicago Sky and her previous team, the Indiana Fever. Her journey began at Benton Harbor High School in Michigan, where she averaged an impressive 40.5 points per game as a senior. From there, she played college basketball at the University of Michigan and later transferred to West Virginia University.
WNBA Journey
Selected by the Fever as the No. 4 pick in the 2021 WNBA Draft, Gondrezick’s professional career took off. However, she faced setbacks, including being waived by the Fever in January 2022. Undeterred, she returned to the court in 2024 with the Chicago Sky, where she continues to make her presence felt.
She is the daughter of former NBA player Grant Gondrezick and Lisa Harvey. Tragically, her sister Kalabrya was married to former NFL quarterback Dwayne Haskins until his untimely death in 2022. Moreover, Gondrezick herself fell victim to domestic violence in 2023, allegedly assaulted by her then-boyfriend, NBA player Kevin Porter Jr.
