Almost a year after they had split, Jena Frumes broke the silence about her past relationship with American singer Jason Derulo, revealing that he constantly cheated on her when they were together.
Jena Frumes states Jason Derulo wanted a “different girl every week”
Jena Frumes, a social media influencer, had recently posted a photo of herself on her Instagram account and captioned it, “You are beautiful, you are worth it and YOU are irreplaceable. Don’t forget that”. The model’s caption was questioned by a comment of a follower which read, “Worth it in what way? You’re not married, which means your child is a bastard and you’re playing the w**** role. Y’all got morals mixed up.” The commenter was talking about Jason King, Frumes’ 13-month-old son with Derulo.

The influencer made a quick response and added “I wouldn’t call myself a w**** its unfortunate situation didn’t work out because we once did aspire to be married but maybe it’s best to be single than to be in a relationship & constantly be disrespected and cheated on and lied to. Or it is better to say quiet so people like you approve?”
Afterward, Frumes added lengthy messages to her Instagram Stories, penning down her experience in her relationship with Derulo. She stated that it was not her choice to be a single mother and continue talking about her desire for love, marriage, and the “happy family unit.” The former couple began dating back in March 2020 but their split was not as friendly as Derulo initially made it noticeable.
She wrote in another Instagram story, “Women really don’t deserve to be treated and judged the way they are. No one aspires to be a single mom. It’s the biggest heartbreak and failure for me personally knowing I’m alone in this…But if your negotiables are being tested you’ll never find peace in that relationship.”
She claimed Derulo wanted a “different girl every week.” The influencer added “If a man wants a different girl every week over his family I’ll never accept that …we will never be able to make it work ‘happily,’ was straight up told that I should ‘turn the other cheek.’ I’ll never be okay with sharing a lover that I love with all my heart!!!”

Frumes mentions that her ex used to like partying with other women instead of their family, and she refused to settle. She said, “If the streets come first I can’t change that so stop blaming the women like we chose the single mother life. That s*** is hella annoying. You don’t know what women go through to try & ‘make it worth’. It was never about money or dating someone famous…I was in love & we planned a baby & life together! it didn’t work out and life must go on. Leave me alone.”
Derulo, on the contrary, said that co-parenting their son with Frumes is amazing. He shared the fact that they don’t care about confusing people about their relationship status and they spend a lot of time together. As per PEOPLE magazine, Derulo said, “We have an amazing relationship, and we don’t care if we’re confusing people about our situation is our situation,” and further added that what’s important is their son Jason King.
Before Frumes, Derulo dated Jordin Spark, who stated she was perplexed by the breakup. Few months after his breakup with Sparks the rumors of Derulo dating model Carmen Ortega started to make rounds. Later, Derulo was connected to lingerie and swimsuit model Daphne Joy, who was the ex of rapper 50 Cent.
While Derulo continued co-parenting their son with Frumes, they were not interested in showing the face of the newborn baby so soon on social media. Little Jason’s face is presently shared by now-exes in various social media posts.
