Jackson Mahomes and His Trouble with the Law: Explained

Jackson Mahomes has recently been in trouble with the law and saw 4 charges pressed against him (The charges were not pursuid. The younger brother of Kansas City Chiefs’s Patrick Mahomes has been in the news for not some good reasons. However, in a bright turn of events, 3 of the charges against him were dropped. The judge has approved the prosecutor’s motion to drop the 3 charges of aggravated sexual battery.

The 4th charge has not been dropped yet. It is a misdemeanor battery charge that occurred on the same night as his past 3 charges.

Jackson Mahomes caught on camera; charges dropped voluntarily

Aspen Vaughn, a restaurant owner, accused Jackson Mahomes of forcibly kissing her on the premises of her restaurant in Overland Park in February 2023 and has dropped her charges against him.

She stated “He forcibly kissed me out of nowhere, And I’m telling him, pushing him off saying, ‘What are you doing?’ And then he proceeded to do it two more times where the last time I was pushing him off and I can see on the cameras that somebody was outside the office door and I was yelling for them to come help because he’s big and massive.

She has withdrawn from pressing charges and wishes “the matter to be dismissed as to anything involving her.” as per the court documents.

Though the incident was captured on surveillance footage, Aspen has failed to cooperate with the investigation. The court cited a lack of cooperation from the alleged victim to justify the dismissal of the felony charges.

On the same night, Jackson Mahomes got into a minor physical altercation with a waiter, shoving him that resulted in the aforementioned misdemeanor battery charge. Fans have been pretty critical of the incident and have taken to social media to express their disgust.

In a statement to FOX 4, Jackson’s attorney Brandon Davis stated “Like I said from the beginning, Jackson has done nothing wrong. We had full confidence that the truth of the matter would ultimately be revealed. The defense will reserve further comment until the remaining count is disposed of.” Jackson has pleaded not guilty and the case is an ongoing one.
