Canapino Returns to Juncos Hollinger Racing IndyCar Drive for 2024 Season
Agustin Canapino is set to continue his IndyCar journey with Juncos Hollinger Racing (JHR) for the remainder of the 2024 NTT IndyCar SERIES season. Here are the key details:
Canapino has signed a contract extension with JHR, solidifying his position in the No. 78 car. The 34-year-old Argentine driver missed the last race at Road America due to mental health reasons, following a controversial incident earlier in the Detroit Grand Prix.
Canapino will make his comeback at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, starting with the Firestone Grand Prix of Monterey on June 23. Juncos Hollinger Racing’s decision reflects their confidence in Canapino’s abilities and the desire to maintain stability within the team.
