WBA (Super) super featherweight, WBA (Regular) lightweight and WBA (Regular) super lightweight champion Gervonta Davis(25-0, 24 KOs) has possibly survived the most horrific incident of his life, and it didn’t take place in the squared circle.

The boxer, who was recently on board his private jet, was able to walk away unharmed after surviving a close call as the flight crashed during take off, but there were no fatalities in the accident.

Following the shocking incident, ‘Tank’ took to Instagram to share a clip from the scene, revealing that the flight was unable to take off and crashed and that he will be avoiding taking private jets from now on.

“The plane crashed. The plane didn’t even take off,” Davis said on Instagram Live, “It took off, but it didn’t take off. Oh my god. I’m good, it’s just that my ass is hot, I’m sitting on this hot-ass concrete.”

“For everybody wanting to fly private, I think it’s over with. I’ll be driving or catching a train,” the 26-year-old added.

‘Bulls**t aside”, Jake Paul sends best wishes to Gervonta Davis

Even though YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul has launched some heat at Davis in recent times, he steered away from his ‘Problem Child’ avatar this time and sent best wishes to the three division champion for surviving the crash unharmed.

“bulls**t aside…glad you safe champ @gervontaa,” Jake tweeted.

Jake, who is 3-0 as a pro boxer and is slated to face former UFC Welterweight champion Tyron Woodley up next, released his eight-man hit list which he wants to target after settling the score with former UFC welterweight champion Woodley, and Davis was named in the list.

The list included some of the most bizarre targets for ‘The Problem Child’, including Canelo Alvarez, Nate or Nick Diaz, Kamaru Usman, Tyson Fury, Conor McGregor, KSI and even his elder brother Logan Paul, aside from Gervonta.

Davis, who is is fresh off of his 11th round TKO victory over former WBA super lightweight titlist Mario Barrios on 26th June at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, announced last month that he is targeting to make a comeback to the ring in October this year.
