Gervonta Davis is back in the gym to train for his upcoming fight against Ryan Garcia as a recent video of him doing shadow boxing has leaked and gone viral on the internet.
The WBA lightweight world champion comes from facing Héctor Luis GarcÃa in Washington DC, United States on January 8, 2023. Although the Dominican had good moments during the fight, the American’s power was the key for him to win by knockout in the ninth round.
In the video shared by the YouTube channel Blue Blood Sports TV, “Tank” is seen performing a bit of shadow on the street, six days after he faced Hector.
“I’m ready for the fight scheduled for April,” Gervonta Davis said after the match against the Dominican. “He has spoken and let’s see who is ready. I’m ready. I’ll be at the gym on Monday. Well, not Monday, I’ll take a week off and soon (I’ll be back training).”
For his part, Ryan Garcia is also preparing for the confrontation that is scheduled for April 15, according to the last thing the boxer of Mexican blood said.
“At this point, as far as I know, it is,” he replied about the confrontation with Gervonta in a recent interview with The MMA Hour. “Yes, 100%. I’ve seen the contract, everything’s been settled and I think they’re working on the preliminary card. Other than that, we both agreed to fight, so I’m ready. I’m dying for this fight and I’m doing everything I can to make it happen.”
For several months, the teams of Davis and GarcÃa were negotiating to agree on the terms of the television networks. After they announced that they had already agreed on everything, Gervonta announced that he was going to have a preparation match against Héctor Luis.
