WWE Superstar Charlotte Flair has been sidelined from in-ring action since December 2023 due to a severe knee injury sustained during a match against Asuka on the December 8 episode of SmackDown. The 37-year-old wrestler suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus, prompting her to undergo surgery on January 4, with a projected recovery period of at least nine months. Despite the significant nature of her injuries, Flair has been diligently working on her recovery and rehabilitation.
By mid-January, she had returned home to continue her recuperation and shared her progress on social media platforms. Posting on Instagram Stories, Flair provided glimpses of her home and Performance Center workouts, showcasing her dedication to returning to peak condition. In a recent post, she celebrated hitting the five-week post-surgery milestone.

The post comes after her post with her husband Andrade in the gym, just a month after undergoing surgery. Charlotte Flair, known as the “Master of the Figure 8,” shared a workout video with Andrade on Instagram, demonstrating her dedication to rehabilitation by engaging in weightlifting and using a stationary bicycle merely 32 days post-surgery. Charlotte Flair might even make an earlier return than expected.

Unfortunately, the knee injury has ruled Flair out of participating in the WrestleMania in Philadelphia, causing a significant setback for both her and WWE. The absence means missing out on potential marquee matchups, such as facing Bianca Belair on the grand stage, adding to the challenges faced by “The Queen” and the wrestling organization.
Despite her absence from active competition, Flair has been seen at some WWE events. Notably, she was backstage on crutches and wearing a brace during the Royal Rumble, indicating her commitment to staying involved with the wrestling community as she works towards her comeback.
