Daniel Bryan, the WWE SmackDown star announced his entry into the upcoming Royal Rumble Match to be held in 2021. During the latest edition of Friday Night SmackDown, he officially made the announcement.
Daniel Bryan eyeing to win the Royal Rumble Match
During this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Daniel Bryan was interviewed by Kayla Braxton in a backstage segment.
He was questioned about his upcoming goals in WWE and the former WWE Champion said that he has only one feat yet to achieve that is winning the Royal Rumble Match.
During the Christmas edition of SmackDown, Bryan got a huge comeback win against Jey Uso in a singles match despite of the pre-match assault by Uso.
Following the match, in the interview he made it clear that he would not only be participating in the Men’s Royal Rumble match but also aiming to win the 30 men match.
Previously, Bryan had main evented WrestleMania 30 but he did not win the Royal Rumble back then. But his time he is keen on winning the match and headline the flagship pay-per-view of the company.
Daniel Bryan is yet to win a Royal Rumble match
He has numerous achievements against his name but he is still left with winning the Royal Rumble Match. It is something, the former World Heavyweight Champion has been waiting for a long time now.
With the announcement, he also became the first star to announce a spot in the upcoming Royal Rumble match.

WWE had received major heat back in 2015, when Daniel Bryan was the favorite to win the Royal Rumble match.
However, to everyone’s shock, he was eliminated in a very quick time and the fans had criticized the company for the decision.
Daniel Bryan had recently updated his fans about his current status as a star and revealed that he would be wrestling on as part-time wrestler and will focus more on his family.
The 2021 WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view will take place on January 31 from the WWE ThunderDome at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida.
