The former WWE star Braun Strowman recently took a shot at former WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre with a social media post.

Strowman, who was recently released by WWE due to budget was heavily featured in the main event scene. The Monster Among Men had clashed in a Triple Threat match for the WWE title at WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view, against Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley. It was Lashley who won the match to retain his title.

Braun Strowman had hit a gigantic elbow drop on McIntyre during the match. He recently took to his Instagram handle and posted a video clip of the same. He went on to ask the fans in the caption if The Scottish Warrior po*ped after being hit with the move. He also apologized for working a little stiff.

His caption read: “gravity is a bi*ch sometimes!!!#StiffB**tard #MyBad#330lbs #IWorkSnug #DoYouThinkHePo*ped #Wrastlin”

It was also noted that Strowman had suffered broken ribs during this spot. It was his last match in WWE and he released a few weeks later.

Braun Strowman could return to WWE

The fans were shocked when it was announced that the former WWE Universal Champion was released from his WWE contract. It came as a stunner as he was a main-event star. But, WWE had decided to let him go as he had a staggering $1.2 million per year contract as per the reports of Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

It has been reported that WWE are interested in signing Braun Strowman back in the company. This comes after reports stated that AEW are eyeing to bag the huge signings of former WWE stars- CM Punk and Daniel Bryan. Strowman is also teasing the fans about his future in pro-wrestling. He had tweeted: “Choices choices choices!!!!!!” on Tuesday.

Strowman is reportedly under a 90-day non-compete clause that will make him a free agent on Tuesday, August 31. WWE have also recently released new Strowman merchandise on WWE Shop and this has led to the fans wondering about the present situation involving Strowman. Though there could be a possibility that is a error on the site but fans are not ruling out a potential return of Strowman to WWE. We will see if The Monster Among Men eventually makes a comeback to the company.
