Texas Motor Speedway was no less than a glimmer race for NASCAR fans, with 16 cautions and Chase Elliott celebrating his long-awaited victory. Despite the intense competition, Brad Keselowski found reason to celebrate as well. Despite lacking speed, the RFK Racing co-owner put together an impressive performance, ultimately securing second place after navigating through twists and turns on the track.

In fact, Brad wasn’t sure about his great finish and expressed after the interview that he had to check the replay how he did this. Talking in an interview with FOX, Brad said, “I’m not sure we finished third. I have to see the replay from NASCAR on that first before I’m going to concede that.”

He continued, “We didn’t have a ton of speed. Honestly, I’m more frustrated than anything because I feel like we have a great team and we don’t have the speed to go with it. We’re doing all we can do to overcome that.”

“The driver in me is frustrated because I feel like these are races I’m good enough to win, and we don’t have the speed to do it. Only reason I am mad as hell is it’s my fault for not making the cars faster,” he concluded.

A near miss but Brad Keselowski praises “Never-Give-Up Spirit”

Keselowski, driving the No. 6 Ford for RFK Racing, embarked on a journey from a 22nd starting position. Despite the odds, Keselowski’s team rallied. Their pit stops were flawless, and their strategy was impeccable. The driver’s resolve never wavered. “We probably didn’t deserve it,” he said, “but we earned this finish with some kind of never-give-up spirit.”
