27 y/o Bobby Pierce Turning Setback into Finding Motivation After a Hefty Penalty

But what’s driving him? , Bobby Pierce faced a suspension and penalty in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series due to a failed tire test.

After the hefty penalty that affected the driver and the team as he said in a post shared by FloRacing, “𝐼’𝑚 𝑑𝑒𝑓𝑖𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑒𝑙𝑦 𝑑𝑟𝑖𝑣𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑝 𝑜𝑛 𝑚𝑦 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑𝑒𝑟 𝑟𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡 𝑛𝑜𝑤. 𝑇ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑒’𝑠 𝑛𝑜 𝑑𝑜𝑢𝑏𝑡. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑐𝑎𝑛’𝑡 𝑑𝑒𝑛𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡.”

But he also mentioned he has the reason and motivation for the upcoming events by saying. “We’re hungry and motivated.

“I mean, I did say at the beginning of the year I want to win 50 races,” the already 10-time winner this year said with a grin. “So, we have to get on it if we want to win 50. That was another one of those, like, kind of joking (remarks). But if it happens, man, that’d be sick. You know I’ll be trying.”

The hefty penalty for Bobby Pierce

After competing in the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Equipment Late Model event on February 16, 2024, at Volusia Speedway Park, a tire sample was taken from Bobby Pierce’s car for testing. The independent laboratory found that the tire did not match or conform to the benchmarks provided by Hoosier Tire Company.

They got huge penalties for the violation that included Disqualification from the event. A fine totaling $8,400, which includes a $1,000 fine, a $400 tire analysis fee, and the loss of $7,000 in prize money from that event.

Suspension from all World Racing Group events for 30 days or the next four completed events in the World of Outlaws CASE Construction Late Model Series schedule (whichever occurs last). Loss of 294 Series Owner and Driver points ( lightened to 144)  for the 2024 season.
