Ben Simmons was once one of the most promising young players in the NBA. A two-time All-Star and Defensive Player of the Year, Simmons was widely regarded as a generational talent. However, in recent years, Simmons’s career has been plagued by injuries and inconsistency.
Now, it appears that Simmons is back to his old self. According to Chris Brickley, a well-known NBA trainer, Simmons is “better now than his All Star seasons.” Brickley has been working with Simmons this offseason and has been impressed with his progress.
Chris Brickley took to Twitter to share his thoughts on Ben Simmons’ current form. He tweeted,
““Ben is healthy, moving very well, he is better now than his All Star seasons. I’ve never co-signed a player that didn’t prove it when their season started. Trust me on this one.”“

Ben Simmons’ Journey So Far
Ben Simmons, the former No. 1 overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft, has had a career marked by both brilliance and setbacks. He made three consecutive All-Star appearances from 2019 to 2021 while playing for the Philadelphia 76ers. However, his career has been plagued by injuries and inconsistency, leading to a trade to the Brooklyn Nets in 2022.
Since joining the Nets, Simmons has struggled to regain his All-Star form. He played only 57 games over two seasons, missing the entire 2021-2022 campaign due to a back injury. His performance on the court has been underwhelming, with career-low statistics in points, assists, and steal.
