Legendary Formula 1 designer Adrian Newey has recently made headlines with his decision to leave Red Bull Racing, where he has been a central figure in their success for nearly two decades. As the chief technical officer, Newey’s designs have played a pivotal role in Red Bull’s 13 world titles, including the current dominating car of the 2024 season. Now, the question arises: Where will Adrian Newey land next?

The Aston Martin Option and Ferrari Speculation
Aston Martin, owned by Lawrence Stroll, has reportedly made a lucrative contract offer to Newey. If Newey were to join Aston Martin, he would be part of a team that is steadily improving and aiming for greater success. The offer would put him on a similar salary to top F1 drivers, emphasizing the team’s commitment to securing his expertise.
Imagine if we had Lewis at Ferrari, Max going to Mercedes and Adrian Newey going to Aston Martin with Fernando Alonso…. Fans dream!!
Just the shake up F1 would need to break the current dominant cycle….

While Aston Martin has expressed interest, Ferrari remains an intriguing possibility. Lewis Hamilton, during the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, hinted that Ferrari might consider making a move for Newey. The allure of working with the iconic Italian team could be tempting for the legendary designer.
Interestingly, Mercedes has not yet joined the race to sign Newey. There are concerns that his arrival could cause internal unrest within the team. Nevertheless, the allure of collaborating with a team like Mercedes, which has dominated recent F1 seasons, cannot be ignored. The outcome will remain in anticipation and only time will tell where he will land.
