Ferrari’s Special Livery: Azzurro La Plata and Azzurro Dino
Ferrari’s blue livery for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix. This unique design is set to commemorate the 70th anniversary of Ferrari’s presence in North America and promises to be a visual treat for fans.
This lighter shade of blue serves as the national racing color of Argentina. It echoes the color worn by legendary driver Alberto Ascari during his most successful seasons in Formula 1. Ascari, who became Ferrari’s first world champion, donned a blue jersey accompanied by a matching helmet – his lucky charms. The same color was also seen on Ferrari drivers’ racing suits in the 1960s, including those of John Surtees, Lorenzo Bandini, Ludovico Scarfiotti, and Chris Amon. Even Niki Lauda sported this shade during his inaugural year with Ferrari, and the Maranello workforce wore shirts in this hue.
