Kentucky Wildcats guard Antonio Reeves created history by joining the Kentucky basketball 1000-point club. Though it turned out to be an excellent night for Reeves it was a completely heartbreaking one for his team, which fell 75-74 to LSU. Reeves became the second player in Kentucky Wildcats history to score 1000 points for the side.

Oscar Tshiebwe, a former teammate of Reeves was the first Kentucky Player in the side’s history to reach this milestone. Antonio Reeves is in his fifth year as a college player and his second season as a Kentucky Wildcat baller. Though he has always been a talented player his evolution over the past few months has been remarkable.

“Nice milestone, but would be greatly overshadowed by a terrible, terrible loss here. This game shows why UK has no chance at making a run in March. Bad D aside, why are so many players who have no business taking big shots still shooting?” another fan added.

some fans even questioned the “poor” referring standards in the game.

“The officials are really bad tonight.” one Twitter user commented

“Same story, different day. Surely we can find someone who can officiate a basketball game @SECOfficiating @SEC” Another replied

A memorable night for Antoni Reeves turned into an disaster for Kentucky wildcats

Though it was a memorable night for Antonio Reeves the same can not be said for the entire Kentucky Wildcats team, as the LSU have just whiskered past them to snatch the victory from the hands of the Wildcats.

Reeves produced 25 points,1 assist, and 4 rebounds, Rob Dillingham was brilliant too the other night against LSU. He produced  23 points and 1 rebound but still, this was not enough to earn a victory. LSU played as a unit and got the better of the Wildcats.

Antonio Reeves needs to keep up the hard work and prove that he is not a one-season wonder as his critics claim.
