Andrea Dovizioso recently shared an update, which was posted on X by “Junaid#JB17.” The account holder shared photos of Dovizioso in the hospital and another photo showing his health update. In the update, Dovizioso expressed gratitude for not having suffered deep injuries this time, in contrast to his collarbone fracture during the Regional Championship race in Faenza back in June 2020.
He further thanked the hospital staff and those who asked about his health and texted him. Andrea further notified that his CT Scan is okay and he will be going for further checkups by tomorrow.
The Impact and the Injuries of Andrea Dovizioso
Andrea underwent a CT scan at the hospital, which fortunately yielded negative results. This means there were no significant head or brain injuries. However, the scan did reveal a fracture of the right clavicle.
The report regarding his wrists is still awaited, so we’ll need to stay tuned for updates on that front.
Notably, this accident occurred in the same region where Andrea previously fractured his collarbone during the Regional Championship race in Faenza back in June 2020. Fortunately, he does not appear to have sustained serious injuries this time. Let’s hope for a speedy recovery and wish him all the best for his upcoming series.
