After the P3 finish in Australia, Lando Norris and all the Formula 1 drivers made their moves to the Japanese GP for the rating weekend. Amidst the anticipation for Suzuka, Alex Albon shared a post on X which garnered everyone’s attention.

Alex Abon shared a post on X featuring the photo of her grandma and Lando Norris. In fact, Albon shared another photo of the Instagram chatbox where his grads playfully requested Albon to tell Lando that she is Albon’s real grandma.

Lando Norris was at Narita Airport in Japan ahead of the upcoming Japanese Grand Prix. Coincidentally, Alex Albon’s grandmother was also present at the same airport. As fate would have it, the two crossed paths. Albon’s grandmother quickly recognized the 24-year-old Norris and clicked some pictures with him.

Albon’s post read: “Grandma has a new favourite driver it seems”

After Albon’s grandmother took the picture, she made sure her grandson knew about it, saying, “so Lando won’t think an old lady just made a claim to take a photo with him”. It seems that Albon’s grandmother achieved one of her dreams by meeting Lando Norris!
