2016 Airplane Brawl Incident Between Angelina Jolie & Brad Pitt Detailed In FBI Documents

An interesting episode has come up in the long running saga of Angelina Jolie vs. Brad Pitt. Reportedly the actress was backing the unknown FBI lawsuit seeking documents linked to an investigation regarding Brad Pitt. After an investigation by the FBI and the Los Angeles Country Department of Children and Family Services no charges were filed against Pitt.

The couple separated in 2016, and since then the pair have been involved in various legal battles over their six children and their property. Pitt has also spoken about his alcohol addiction and ensuing soberness in a 2017 GQ article.

According to reports, Angelina Jolie publicized to be the nameless accuser who was behind the FBI lawsuit concerning the assault allegation of Brad Pitt. Jolie told an FBI agent that several years ago Pitt “physically and verbally assaulted” her and their children when they were aboard a private plane, as per Puck.

A Freedom of Information Act lawsuit was filed against the FBI by Jolie under the alias “Jane Doe”, looking for the release of the FBI documents. The full information in the latest filing of what is being sought are not clear. In April, the prosecutor for “Jane Doe” said she could not comment on the on her client’s identity. However, the attorney took note of this client who was “seeking such records for years but has been stonewalled and has had to resort to court action to receive needed records.”

Yet similar sources with the proceeding legal battle between the two cast defamations on Jolie for reportedly seeking to have this document revealed via FOIPA.

“This report was given to both parties, almost six years ago. We both had it, in its entirety. The final paragraph (…) is very clear and concise about the fact that all parties, all law enforcement agreed on the decision to not press charges. This was not like a close call. They did their investigation as they’re supposed to. And the decision was made with all parties in agreement,” NBC News quoted its sources.

In September 2016, Jolie filed a divorce against Pitt, stating the incompatible difference as the reason for their separation. Later in 2018, Jolie accused Pitt of not paying “meaningful” child support for over a year. The custody issues had continued in spite of the declaration of legally single in 2018. The split of the couple was very popular and was tagged as “Brangelina” by the fans.
