Britain Hart Beltran is the newly crowned inaugural Women’s Strawweight Champion at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and she has no plans to stop evolving into an even greater fighter.

Having won a world title on her fourth attempt makes it sweeter says Britain Hart

One of the biggest names in bare knuckle boxing, Britain Hart contested for the BKFC World Women’s Flyweight Championship thrice in the past, but remained unsuccessful in all three attempts.

However, the fourth time proved to be the one for the 32-year-old out of Bedford, Virginia. Taking on Charisa Sigala in the Main Event of BKFC 29 on Saturday in Great Falls, MT, Hart marked a win via unanimous decision, becoming BKFC’s inaugural Women’s Strawweight Champion.

“The fact that I fought for other titles before, it adds to the sweetness and really sticks true to never quitting and never giving up,” said Hart on her monumental feat, “You hear all these stories about actors who were rejected at auditions who went on to become stars after being told no so many times, and that’s how this feels.”

“It was falling short that showed me how bad I wanted it. How badly it hurt when I fell short showed me how important it was. Overcoming those obstacles makes this an even sweeter victory.”

While she’s yet to have any confirmation on who she takes on for her first title defense, Hart is steadfast that the best is yet to come and she is yet to become the best version of herself.

“I’m not done evolving. I can’t tell you guys that you’ve seen the best of me, because I know there’s a better version of me. Until I give you guys the best version, I just can’t be done,” added Hart, “I’m ready to answer the call for whoever is next.” [H/T bareknuckle.tv]
