NBA Week 19 May 2 Results: Scores, standings, match summary, and highlights

The seventh matchday of Week 19 of the 2020-21 NBA season has concluded and it’s time to take a look back at the scores and highlights of the matches and standings of the teams.

Bucks 117 – 114 Nets

Kevin Durant led Brooklyn Nets with 42 points but Giannis came on top with his stunning 49-point performance as Milwaukee Bucks won the clash at Fiserv Forum.

Alongside Giannis, Khris Middleton added 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Jrue Holiday scored 18.

Celtics 119 – 129 Trail Blazers

After a neck to neck first half, Portland Trail Blazers pulled away in the 2nd to conquer Boston Celtics at the TD Garden.

CJ McCollum led the visitors with 33 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists along with Damian Lillard’s double-double of 26 points and 13 assists.

Rockets 97 – 122 Knicks

New York Knicks banked on Julius Randle to rout the struggling Houston Rockets at the Toyota Center.

Randle finished with 33 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Derrick Rose added 24 points, while RJ Barrett contributed 21.

Spurs 111 – 113 76ers

Joel Embiid’s pivotal double-double earned Philadelphia 76ers a close OT win over San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center.

Embiid posted 34 points and 12 rebounds, followed by 22 points from Seth Curry. Lonnie Walker scored 23 for the hosts.

Thunder 120 – 123 Suns

Oklahoma City Thunder had seven players posting double-digit scores but Phoenix Suns still edged out the hosts at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

Devin Booker scored 32 points, 3 rebounds and 6 assists, while Torrey Craig posted 18 points and 10 rebounds.

Mavericks 99 – 111 Kings

Luka Doncic’s 30-point performance couldn’t pull Dallas Mavericks to a win as Sacramento Kings got the better of them at the American Airlines Center.

Buddy Hield scored 27 for the visitors, while Marvin Bagley III added 23 points and 9 rebounds.

Hornets 111 – 121 Heat

Miami Heats went on a Q3 rally from which Charlotte Hornets failed to recover as the visitors picked up a win at the Spectrum Center.

Bam Adebayo posted 20 points and 10 rebounds, followed by Kendrick Nunn at 19 points. PJ Washington scored 21 for the hosts.

Lakers 114 – 121 Raptors

Los Angeles Lakers dropped to their third straight defeat at the hands of Toronto Raptors’ duo of Pascal Siakam-Kyle Lowry at Staples Center.

Siakam posted 39 points and 14 rebounds, along with Lowry’s 37 points and 11 assists. Kyle Kuzma scored 24 for the Lakers.
