4. Matthew Mitchell (return?)
Mitchell has guided the Wildcats to NCAA Tournament success, including three Elite Eight appearances. His retirement in 2020 was unexpected, but may he be enticed to return to the sidelines?

The University of Kentucky has been considered one of the sport’s “sleeping giants” by women’s college basketball coaches for many years and also has a rich history in women’s basketball, including a national championship in 1982. However, duplicating that achievement and continuously competing for Southeastern Conference (SEC) and national titles necessitates a visionary leader.
