After it was revealed that the Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green had been involved in an altercation with his teammate Jordan Poole, a video from the moment of the clash between the two basketball players has come to the limelight this Friday.
TMZ Sports has revealed the exclusive recording in which the punch to the face that Green unleashed on his partner, who had previously tried to move him away with his arms, is observed.
The clip also shows how the escort ended up on the court after the altercation took place. Several players and members of the Warriors’ coaching staff immediately arrived at the scene to split up the two players. Check it out below –
Draymond Green apologizes for his actions
In the wake of the altercation, Draymond Green issued an apology to the team on Thursday, a day after he got into an argument with teammate Jordan Poole during practice, as revealed by Warriors general manager Bob Myers.
Myers revealed that while Poole practiced on Thursday, Green was absent, and stated that any disciplinary action will be handled internally. Coach Steve Kerr added Green will also be out of practice Friday but expects him to return on Saturday. Myers also doesn’t expect Green to miss a game because of Wednesday’s altercation.
“Everything is fine,” said the manager, who said the team was lucky no one was injured. “Look, this is the NBA. In professional sport these things happen. Nobody likes it, we don’t condone it, but it happens. “
“Draymond apologized to the team and Jordan was there in the same room. I was there too, along with the coaches, the players, and we all heard that,” added Myers.
