Valtteri Bottas, the Finnish Formula 1 driver, recently took a break from the F1 track to participate in the grueling UNBOUND Gravel race in Emporia, Kansas. The event, known as the “World’s Premier Gravel Event,” attracted over 1,400 riders who tackled a challenging 108-mile course through the scenic Flint Hills.
With a week off between F1 races, Valtteri Bottas just completed the UNBOUND Gravel race in Kansas.

Despite the tough competition, Bottas finished 33rd overall, showcasing his endurance and determination. Notably, he secured the second spot in his age group (men aged 30 to 39). His girlfriend, Australian cyclist Tiffany Cromwell, also participated in the event, completing the brutal 200-mile course.
In a social media post, Bottas expressed his excitement about participating in the UNBOUND Gravel race: “Finally got to take part in this big event. Had fun out there racing bikes for 174 km on gravel and finished second in men 30-39.”
He also gave a shout-out to Cromwell for her impressive performance. The former Mercedes ace shared his race results on Strava, a popular fitness tracking platform.
