Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce recently indicated that he will retire during the 2024 NFL off-season. He made this announcement in the locker room on Monday Night after the Philadelphia Eagles playoff game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. His brother Travis Kelce recently addressed an emotional moment that Jason had following the game.

Jason Kelce is widely regarded as one of the greatest offensive linemen of his time, having made a significant impact on the football field. He is highly respected across the league for possessing leadership skills, a positive attitude, and a charitable nature, among other admirable traits.

It’s worth noting that Jason Kelce has been considering retirement for quite some years now. As per Mike Garafolo, Jason Kelce has informed his teammates that he plans to retire from the game.

In the final moments of the game against the Buccaneers, Kelce could be seen tightly hugging his offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland.

Travis Kelce shares his thoughts on Jason Kelce’s emotional farewell

Travis Kelce opened up on his brother’s impact around the NFL during a recent episode of the New Heights podcast. He clarified that the direct reaction to his retirement has been overwhelming and well-deserved.

“I think everybody in the football world felt this one man. Clearly a lot of emotion at the end of this game for you guys, but I can attest for it, because I was feeling it. I know, Kylie, mom, dad, everybody that was at the game, was feeling it.”

He further added:

“And I know all the friends and family that I got texts from, that wanted me to tell you they reached out, they were all feeling it man.”

Travis further spoke about the emotional moment when Jason hugged Jeff Stoutland.
