During the 2018 Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai, there was a dramatic moment when Max Verstappen attempted an audacious move on Sebastian Vettel.  As they battled for position, Verstappen, on fresh soft tires, attempted an overtake on Vettel for third place at the hairpin on lap 43. However, things took a dramatic turn when Verstappen locked up and rammed into the Ferrari. The collision occurred as Verstappen tried to overtake the championship leader for third place. Ultimately, Verstappen took responsibility for the crash.

Recently, the Formula 1 official account on X shared a video of the intense battle that led Max Verstappen into Vettel leading to both of them spinning clockwise. Max tried to overtake Vettel from the inside but his move went wrong and both drivers had to pay the price for the mistake.

Once again, Formula 1 is poised to make its comeback at the Chinese Grand Prix after a hiatus of 5 years. This return is marked by significant changes in drivers, teams, and Max Verstappen’s statistics.
