In an unexpected change of events, the Denver Nuggets pulled off a remarkable 101-99 comeback victory against the Los Angeles Lakers in Game 2 of the NBA playoffs. Beyond the court, though, there was action as well. Strahinja and Nemanja Jokic brothers of Nikola Jokic, gained notoriety following a brawl with a spectator.

Jokic Brothers were spotted punching fans in the face
Shortly after the Nuggets clinched the win, a video surfaced on TikTok showing the Jokic brothers confronting an assumed Lakers fan. Strahinja, the older of the two, delivered a punch to the fan’s face, sparking chaos in the crowd. It remains unclear what triggered the altercation, but the NBA is currently investigating the incident. The footage shows the Jokic brothers exchanging words with the fan before Strahinja appears to throw a punch.
The Denver Police Department and the NBA are both reportedly investigating the incident. The Nuggets organization has yet to comment publicly on the matter.
Several theories about the cause of the altercation are circulating. Some speculate the fan might have directed verbal abuse towards Nikola Jokic’s wife and child, who were also in attendance. Without a clearer picture, it’s difficult to determine the exact trigger.
Nikola Jokic, the Nuggets’ superstar centre, epitomizes grit and passion on the court. His unyielding work ethic and determination have made him a force to be reckoned with. Strahinja and Nemanja, like their brother, wear their emotions on their sleeves. Their willingness to defend their family—even in the heat of the moment—reflects the same fiery spirit that fuels Nikola’s game.
The Jokic brothers’ involvement isn’t entirely surprising. During last year’s Western Conference Finals, they famously heckled actor Jack Nicholson after the Nuggets took a 3-0 series lead. One brother gave Nicholson a thumbs-up, while the other playfully shouted, “See you next year! Bye-bye!” Their loyalty to the team and willingness to engage with fans make them a memorable part of the Nuggets’ story.
