Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia are expected to lock horns in 2023 and prior to that, the grudge between the two is only growing more and more.
The Davis vs. Garcia catchweight super fight is getting more interesting with each passing day. ‘Tank’ recently took to Twitter to comment on a photo of Ryan Garcia with Tim Tszyu. Davis then accused Garcia of “cheating” and mocked DAZN for not taking the testing process seriously.
“No funny shit! t. If I find out he’s cheating, it’s going to be a problem and it’s going to be more than boxing problems,” said Davis, “He had never looked so big before. He’s definitely onto something. Sh!t DAZN has already proven that they don’t care about testing.”
I’d be willing to do whatever testing someone wants to do: Ryan Garcia
In his response that followed shortly afterward, Garcia replied in a tweet, “I don’t even take supplements.”

As he has done many times before, Davis then deleted his Tweet. He had mentioned DAZN in reference to the recent scandal involving Conor Benn testing positive for the substance clomiphene.
Meanwhile, Garcia added that he would be willing to participate in any necessary testing.
“Also they never asked to do an early vada testing. I’d be willing to do whatever testing someone wants to do. I already accepted everything you wanted. Why wouldn’t I accept that??” he further wrote.

This matchup is set to take place in Las Vegas in 2023, and it could be the biggest fight of the year. Not too long ago, Davis revealed that he would face Hector Luis Garcia on January 7, before facing Ryan. Following this, even the latter went public about facing another opponent ahead of his big fight with Davis. However, his opponent has yet to be revealed.
Additionally, the boxing fraternity is eagerly awaiting the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia clash. Showtime Sports President Stephen Espinoza said: “It’s the epitome of a crossover boxing event. All credit goes to Tank and Ryan for staying the course and giving the fans the fight they want.
Both competitors are at the peak of their careers and have never suffered a defeat. However, whatever winning streaks they had before could end in this battle. Davis, a more experienced boxer than Garcia, is known for his devastating punches. On the contrary, Garcia is both taller and faster with his shots than Davis.
