Talks Progress For Manny Pacquiao’s Comeback Fight In Papua New Guinea

Bopxing legend and former eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao has advanced in his negotiations to make a fight in Papua New Guinea, in a new excursion for his passionate story. Apparently, his rival is already confirmed.

The Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation gave its full support to the proposed exhibition fight between Pacquiao and Anthony Mundine. This surprised many fans and followers.

This fight is scheduled for June, but tentatively. The date of the contest has not yet been made official, but the intention is that. It will be an exciting event, in an unusual place.

Al Veratau, executive director of PNGSF, revealed the most important details of the negotiation, such as the alliance with a promoter. He also explained the most important points.

“The Papua New Guinea Sports Foundation has partnered with Oceania Fight Promotions,” he recounted. “We will provide the exhibition fight between Manny Pacquiao and Anthony Mundine in Port Moresby. We ask our government to invoke the National Council of Events.”

In addition, the Australian adviser Peter Manitis referred to the magnitude of this confrontation, which will have Pacman as “side A” and a great favorite of all those present. It will be something unique, really.
