LA Lakers are having a nightmare season as they are currently seated 10th in the Western Conference and are playing with an almost transparent defense. The Lakers are having trouble even against teams performing poorly in their offensive sections. Lakers Fans were outraged when they witnessed their team Drop 100 Points by the 3rd quarter for the 6th time this season.
The LA Lakers are struggling to get their defensive shape right and to get back on track they need to make effective changes to their roster. The Lakers have won 21 and lost 21 matches this season.
They had decent performances in their home games but were equally awful in their away games. LA Lakers lost 14 games away from home, winning only 6. Lakers fans and management understand that it is high time to make changes in their squad and the area that needs the most attention is their defence.

Darvin Ham’s plans to get the LA Lakers back on the winning way.
LA Lakers coach Darvin Ham has admitted that they need to improve in different aspects of their game if they want to go deep in the current NBA season, and that includes the possibility of trading for players by the league deadline and improving their overall squad depth and strength.
Darvin Ham and the entire Lakers management are looking for players suitable for the team but until the deals are completed Lakers will try to compete with what they have
“People talk about trades and this and that. No one’s sugarcoating anything. You have an opportunity to get better, you’re going take advantage of it. But that said, what we have in that locker room, we just need to buckle down, focus, take care of the details. We have more than enough in that locker room to make some things happen.” Ham Said
Zach Lavine is a name on Laker’s radar, but the Chicago Bulls player is a prolific scorer but not that much of a defender. The Lakers need to make defensive additions to their team as that is the area they are struggling in the most.
LeBron puts faith in his LA Lakers teammates
LeBron spoke his mind when asked about the changes his team needs to make
“I don’t play fantasy basketball. What I do is focus on the guys that’s here and in this uniform, and show up to work every day. It’s too disrespectful to be thinking about what we need or what we don’t have. I don’t do that to my teammates.” LeBron said
LeBron James, when asked if his team needs moves as the trade deadline approaches, said: “I don’t play fantasy basketball” and vowed to continue to work hard with the group L.A. has pic.twitter.com/sjq6Bh9MrB

Though LeBron spoke like a true leader, LA Lakers need much more than mere words of inspiration to go further in the tournament and bring back their long lost glory.
