NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Larson is gearing up for an extraordinary challenge: racing a total of 1,100 miles in a single day across two different states. On May 25 and 26, Larson will attempt to become the fifth driver in history to race in both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600 on the same weekend. If he completes all laps in both races, he will achieve the remarkable feat of covering 1,100 miles in just two days.

When asked about the physical demands of driving 1,100 miles on the same day across two different states, Kyle Larson responded with confidence and a smile: “If Tony can do it, I can do it.” He was referring to Tony Stewart, the only driver to complete all 1,100 miles during the same attempt.

Tony Stewart achieved this remarkable feat in 2001, finishing 6th in the Indy 500 and 3rd in the Coca-Cola 600. Larson’s determination echoes Stewart’s legacy, and he aims to join the elite group of drivers who have conquered “The Double” challenge.
