Supermodel Kate Moss opened up about her past relationship with Johnny Depp and reminisced the peculiar way by which he gifted a diamond necklace.
Kate Moss says Johnny Depp pulled out the necklace from “the crack of his a**”
On Wednesday, in a video published by British Vogue, the 48-year-old model re-examined some of her most iconic looks throughout the span of last 30 years. As she showed up in a white gown which she wore at the CFDA Fashion Awards in 1995, she also revealed that the diamond necklace was conferred on her in a very interesting way by her boyfriend at that time.
While pointing to the necklace in the photo she said, “And that diamond necklace Johnny gave me. They were the first diamonds I ever owned. He pulled them out of the crack of his a**.”
Moss continued describing the night when the two were out to dinner, the 59-year-old Depp, gifted her with the necklace. She said he told her had something on his “bum” and literally asked her to take a look for him.
“I put my hand down his trousers and I pulled out a diamond necklace,” she said. “That diamond necklace.”
At the time of sharing her memories about the outfit, regretfully Moss noted how much she loved the dress and shoes she wore for the evening. Even so, she does not own the white Galliano dress anymore. She said in the video: “If anyone has it out there, please return to me. It’s my favorite dress.” [H/T People.com]
She was wearing the Manolos of black patent Mary Janes were also her favorites and ones she said she wore most of the time. “I lived in them,” she added prior to launching the story of her first diamonds.
From 1994 to 1998, Moss and Depp dated before parting their ways. Earlier this year the supermodel also gave evidence in Depp’s trial opposing Amber Heard, defending her ex against claims he had abused her.
Heard had accused Depp of pushing Kate Moss down the stairs during her testimony at Depp’s U.K. defamation trial against British tabloid The Sun for calling him a “wife-beater,” as per the reports of The New York Post.
In May, the British supermodel appeared in court virtually to deny the rumors that the Pirates of the Caribbean star shoved her down a flight of stairs during the time they were dating.
The alleged incident happened at a resort in Jamaica while they were vacationing. He did not push her when she fell, Moss testified.
Under oath she said “We were leaving the room and Johnny left the room before I did. There had been a rainstorm. As I left the room, I slid down the stairs and I hurt my back. I screamed because I didn’t know what happened to me and I was in pain. He came running back to help me and carried me to my room and got me medical attention.”
Moss added, “He never pushed me, kicked me or threw me down any stairs.” She was not cross-examined by the team of Heard.
Later she elucidated the reason of her supporting Depp in his trial, telling BBC Radio 4’s Desert Island Discs, “I know the truth about Johnny. I know he never kicked me down the stairs. I had to say that truth.”
