Following their impressive P1 and P2 finishes, a recent post from ‘Formula1’ on X featured a radio chat with Carlos Sainz, offering insights into the team’s success and his amazing gesture toward teammate Leclerc.

“Tell Charles to come close to me and we celebrate this one together!” Fans flooded the comment section praising the bonds between these two as it is really rare to see both of the teammates support each other in F1. The video featured after Sainz”s request to the team, Leclerc came close to Sainz and both of them waved to each other and celebrated Ferrari’s victory at Albert Park.

Carlos Sainz on his “Rollercoaster” season with Ferrari

Carlos Sainz faced two major setbacks this season, firstly losing his seat at Ferrari for the upcoming season and then undergoing emergency appendix surgery ahead of the Saudi GP, causing him to miss the race. However, he made a remarkable recovery and was fully fit for the Australian GP. Winning the race proved to be a shining moment for the Spaniard amidst the challenges he had encountered earlier in the season.

Emphasizing the ups and downs in his journey so far Carlos told FOX, “Life sometimes is crazy, What happened at the beginning of year, then the podium in Bahrain, then the appendix, the comeback, the win… it’s a rollercoaster but I loved it and I’m extremely happy”
