Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler is eyeing to make a name for himself in the music industry. The Miami Heat guard is performing in top form and a six-time All-Star could venture out to explore the new path. Butler is certainly one of the best NBA players and he has scripted massive moments on the court and he is trying to make an impact outside of it.
This season, Jimmy Butler has played in 24 games and is averaging 21.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.0 steals per contest while shooting 46.4% from the field and 37.7% from the three-point range. Butler has missed each of the previous seven games due to a toe injury. However, he was available to be picked for the Heat’s game against the Brooklyn Nets.
Jimmy Butler has an album lined up
In an interview with The Guardian, Jimmy Butler revealed that he’s been writing country music songs in his downtime. So many, in fact, that he’s got enough to release an album.
It is understood that Jimmy Butler has a quest to be “good at almost everything” and the avid country music fan hailing from Tomball, Texas, is adding “musical artist” to his decorated resume.
It has come to light that he’s been quietly working on his country album for over a year and he revealed that while he’s already amassed about 60 songs for the project, he aims to record around 200 to choose from when all is said and done.
