Leveraging his enormous social media following, Paul chose X.com as the platform to announce the news.

“I’m honored to partner with USA Boxing as the 2024 Paris Olympics approach,” wrote Paul, adding in his commitment to offering support to “anyone who works hard enough to fight for their country,” while adding that the USA has the best talent in the sport of the sweet science.

Ebanie Brudges applauds Jake Paul’s upcoming Endeavour

Amidst the praise Paul has been getting, one that stood out is the accolade from none other than the former IBF bantamweight world champion boxer Ebanie Bridges, who took to X to show her admiration to Paul regarding his upcoming stint with the USA team.

“It’s just incredible how you are giving back. So much respect to you @jakepaul. Proud of you,” Bridges wrote.

While Paul is enjoying the victory over August to see off the year, the same could not be said for the “Blonde Bomber”, who had an upsetting end to 2023. The Aussie boxer was dethroned from her IBF throne by Japan’s Miyo Yoshida in their 10-round battle on December 9 at the Chase Center in California via unanimous decision.

Jake Paul’s announcement follows Manny Pacquiao’s Olympic dream

It is to be noted that Paul will not only join hands with the USA Team at the Olympics, but will do so in the presence of the great Manny Pacquiao, the former eight division world champion and a legend in the sport, who announced his Olympic dream back in September.

Despite being one of the greatest of all time in the sport, there’s one thing that is yet to be added to Pacquiao’s lengthy list of achievements is an Olympic gold, and is awaiting approval from the governing body to lead the Filipino contingent at the French capital in July next year.
