DeRozan opened up on his depressing thoughts in a Twitter post 6 years ago. Many were left stunned and confused by this revelation, as many argued what more does a man need?

In an interview with USA Today DeMar DeRozan shared a wonderful message to every “human” who is fighting depression. He doesn’t care if one is poor or wealthy, black or white if one suffers from depression, DeRozan’s message is dedicated to him.

“Remember that we are all human,” he said in an interview with USA TODAY Sports. “We’re all going through something. All of us. So think about how you can help the next person. No matter how you’re feeling, don’t give up. Don’t feel like it’s only you.

Fans React to DeRozan’s Six-year-long Fight with Depression

The entire sporting world came in support of DeMar DeRozan when he first posted about his depression, being helpless to provide anything else the internet showered him with love and support.

As depression has no overnight solution, DeRozan’s fight is still raging on but he is not alone, he has the support of millions of people from all around the globe.
