The Washington Wizards have made a significant investment in their future, agreeing to a 5-year, $54 million extension with forward Corey Kispert. The deal, as reported by renowned NBA journalist Adrian Wojnarowski, will keep Kispert in Washington through the 2028-29 season.

Corey Kispert’s Journey with the Wizards
Kispert, who was the No.15 pick in the 2021 NBA Draft, has steadily developed into a key player for the Wizards. Last season, he averaged 13.4 points per game as a part-time starter. Over his career, he has appeared in 231 games, all with Washington.
Contract Details
The new contract will see Kispert earn an average of $10.8 million per year over the next five years. This extension kicks in for the 2025-26 NBA season, following the completion of his rookie deal.
