In the wake of the storming moment that happened on the stage at the Oscars when Will Smith slapped Chris Rock for a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith, a lot of things submerged. For most of the part, Rock has endured being silent about the incident.

Will Smith’s apology has reportedly left Chris Rock feeling partly “sorry” as well as “angry”

Shortly after the occurrence of the incident, the career of the “I Am Legend ” star started to appear very serious. In March, Will first apologized to Rock on social media and has made it up to the comedian once again through a video on his YouTube channel last Friday.

In the nearly 6-minute long clip, Smith stated, “I’ve reached out to Chris, and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out. So I will say to you, Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable, and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.”

The actors had not swapped a single word among themselves after the disaster. Although, it seems things are now calming down between them. Recently, Chris Rock concurred to meet Will Smith following his heartfelt apology video but on one condition.

Chris reportedly has expressed mixed feelings after watching the apology video. “Part of him felt sorry for Will, and another part of him felt angry that Will was making himself out to be the victim,” cited the sources. [H/T Netflix Junkie]

It was reported by various sources that the host of the 2022 Oscars is ready to meet the “Men in Black” actor. But the catch is, Smith would have to dissolve everything that is discussed in their gathering and never talk about it again.

Rock has concisely spoken about the tribulation and seems to be contemplating and seemingly wants to bury the hatchet once and for all. Sources exclusive to Radar Online say “If that means talking with Will, fine. Sooner or later, Chris will call him, but only if Will agrees that the entire conversation is off the record.” It is believed that Chris does not want to make any melodrama out of it again.

“Everyone in Hollywood knows Will likes publicity. Chris is the opposite, if he never had to do another interview ever again, he would be fine. But at the same time, he’s not the type to hold a grudge,” the insiders further assert, “Isn’t ironic that all Chris wants is for Will Smith to keep his name out of his wife. Sound familiar?” [H/T Radar Online]
