Ryan Fox produced the kind of finish that defines major championships, and The 154th Open ended with a moment he will remember for the rest of his career. The New Zealander sank a nerveless 12-foot birdie putt on the 18th hole at Royal Birkdale to win the Claret Jug by one shot, finishing at 10-under and holding off a fast-charging Cameron Young in dramatic fashion.

Fox’s victory felt earned rather than gifted. He handled the pressure of the closing stretch with remarkable composure, especially on a day when Royal Birkdale tested nearly everyone in the field. Young made a late surge with a stunning final-round 64, but Fox answered when it mattered most and became one of the few New Zealanders to win a men’s major championship. That alone makes the win a landmark for both player and country.

What made the final round even more compelling was the scoring depth around the top of the leaderboard. Sam Burns finished third at 8-under after a historic stretch that included consecutive rounds of 62 and 65, a run that put his iron play and scoring touch in the spotlight. In a major championship, strings of low rounds do more than create headlines — they show which players are striking the ball cleanly enough to survive the pressure of elite links golf. Burns’ performance was proof that Royal Birkdale could be attacked, but only by players making a very high percentage of quality swings.

The Open’s ending also sets up one of the quickest transitions in golf. The PGA Tour now moves straight to Minnesota for the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities, where players barely have time to reset before teeing it up again. That turnaround matters because the contrast between a windswept major venue and a U.S. tour stop can be physically and mentally exhausting. After days of battling links conditions, changing weather, and intense pressure, the challenge becomes less about form and more about recovery.

That is why the 3M Open could be just as interesting in its own way. Scottie Scheffler and other top names are back in action, and the timing means the tournament carries real FedExCup value. Players at the top of the standings are trying to keep momentum, while others are trying to take advantage of a field that may still be feeling the effects of The Open. In that sense, Minnesota becomes not just a regular PGA Tour stop, but the first major test after one of golf’s biggest stages.

The broader takeaway from the week is that golf’s calendar rarely gives players room to breathe. A champion is crowned at Royal Birkdale, records are broken, and then the tour immediately pivots to a completely different challenge. Fox now walks away with the sport’s silverware, Burns leaves with history on his scorecard, and the rest of the field has to decide how quickly it can shift gears for another week of FedExCup racing.

Rory McIlroy’s second round at Aronimink looked like the response of a player who had absorbed the pressure, the frustration, and the public noise, then turned it into fuel. After a difficult emotional post-round moment the day before, he came back with a clean three-under round that pushed him back into major contention and reminded everyone why his game still has the highest ceiling in the field. The contrast with Scottie Scheffler’s uneven Friday only sharpened the sense that this PGA Championship may now hinge on who adapts best to Aronimink’s demands.

The big theme at this course is control. Aronimink is asking players to be brave off the tee but disciplined into the greens, and that creates a narrow path between aggression and self-destruction. McIlroy’s comments about the layout—wide corridors, but punishing pin positions and tricky slopes—capture the exact challenge. The course tempts players to attack, yet one slightly aggressive miss can leave a brutal recovery or a short-sided bunker shot. Rory’s improvement from round one to round two suggests he made the right mechanical and tactical corrections: a little less emotional chasing, a little more acceptance of where the scoring chances actually live.

That matters because major golf is often less about peak swing speed and more about decision quality under stress. McIlroy’s Friday round felt like a player simplifying the problem. Instead of forcing hero shots, he found cleaner shapes, better positional golf, and enough control to avoid the kind of errors that can spiral on a course like this. In that sense, his bounce-back was not just a scoring round. It was a psychological reset.

Scheffler, by contrast, looked human in a way he usually does not. He started his second round with a bogey and spent much of the day fighting from behind after missing fairways and appearing uncomfortable with the setup. Even so, he stayed close enough to remain in the tournament conversation, which is what makes him dangerous. But there is a difference between staying relevant and being in command. Aronimink seems to be forcing Scheffler into more recovery golf than he prefers, and that could matter over the weekend if the wind and firmness continue to complicate approach shots.

The course conditions are likely to intensify that pressure. The forecast calls for firming greens, persistent wind, and gusts strong enough to keep players from trusting every stock number in the yardage book. That makes iron play and distance control more important than raw power. It also explains why the leaderboard remains crowded, with the field still close enough that one clean round can change everything. McIlroy’s precise second-round adjustments therefore arrive at exactly the right moment.

Bryson DeChambeau’s missed cut is another reminder that this setup is rewarding patience and adaptability more than brute force. Aronimink is not simply punishing bad golf; it is exposing any player who loses the balance between conviction and caution. That is why McIlroy’s momentum feels significant. He did not just play better. He looked like he learned the course faster.

If Saturday becomes a true moving day, the player who best manages Aronimink’s subtle traps may separate from the pack. Right now, McIlroy has the cleaner trendline, while Scheffler still has the higher floor. That is exactly the kind of tension that makes a major compelling.

Unbelievable Drama Unfolds on the 18th Hole at a LIV Golf tournament. In a jaw-dropping turn of events, Polish golfer Adrian Meronk found himself in the crosshairs of controversy during the LIV Golf tournament in Saudi Arabia. The stakes were high, the tension palpable, and the clock ticking mercilessly.

The Slow-Play Penalty That Altered Fate

Picture this: The sun beating down, the crowd holding its breath, and Meronk standing over his second shot on the 18th hole. But instead of swift action, he hesitated—for over two minutes.

The LIV Golf officials were not happy with the delay and dropped the hammer. A one-shot penalty slapped on Meronk for violating the time limit. His score of 4 on the par-5 18th hole suddenly ballooned to a 5. The difference? A whopping $240,000!

If Meronk played by the rules, he would have tied for fifth place with the formidable Jon Rahm, pocketing a cool $750,000. But fate had other plans. Instead, he plummeted into a six-way tie for sixth, settling for a significantly lighter—$508,750.

Fans React to the bizarre incident at LIV Golf

Social media erupted with fans mocking him. Incidentally, he had just joined the LIV Golf.

Maybe he will sook it and leave this setup as well…oh wait, the money.

LIV Golf, a professional men’s golf tour, has taken the golfing world by storm. With deep financial muscles, they are attracting some top talents of the Golfing world. It is widely believed that the Saudi government has invested heavily in sports organizations and events, ranging from Golf, F1, Premier League soccer to the WWE, a practice to boost its image in the global media (also known as “sports washing”).

Meronk’s Legacy

Adrian Meronk, once a rising star, now etched in golf lore as the man who lost a fortune over a few extra seconds. The highlight of his career came in 2022 when Meronk etched his name in history as the first Polish golfer to win on the European Tour and clinched his second title, dominating the greens and leaving Adam Scott trailing by five shots
But now, His name is forever linked to the slow-play scandal that shook LIV Golf to its core.

Georgia Ball a well-established Professional Golfer on the PGA tour was given Golfing lessons by a random man. Georgia Ball went on to post the video on her TikTok account. Ball was practicing her swing change when a random stranger approached her and tried to give her some tips to improve her swing.

Lmao she’s exaggerating a swing movement she’s trying to focus on. Extremely common. Also she’s hitting fucking bombs. Maybe he thought he was hitting on her? 🤨

The golf initially got perplexed by the sudden unwanted coaching lessons from the stranger but she went on to handle the rest of the matter very calmly. The stranger persisted on the fact that Ball’s swing was too slow despite her telling him several times that she was working on a swing change. Georgia Ball then proceeded to hit a perfect shot but surprisingly the stranger tried to take the credit for the shot.

Georgia Ball succeeded in staying calm during the entire conversation, not for a minute was she rude to the stranger, and neither did she reveal that she is a pro Golfer. Georgia Ball is a professional Golf coach and an expert in the sport. She has a massive social media fanbase with more than 174k followers on her Instagram page.

Fans react to Georgia Ball’s video

Fans from all over social media poured in with all kinds of reactions.

Most of them appreciated Ball for the way she handled the situation.

“And then a year later, he sees her on tv and tells people around him, “check this out! I fixed her swing and that allowed her to turn pro!” One fan commented.

Arguably the greatest Golf player ever, Tiger Woods has ended his 27-year collaboration with Nike, one of the biggest sports apparel brands. Woods first signed a contract with Nike when he was just 20 years old.
After that, it was a fairytale ride, as Woods grew up to be one of the most popular and marketable Golf players in the history of the sport.

Woods and Nike- a match made in heaven

Woods started to make a name for himself after delivering remarkable performances and winning major tournaments in the late 90s. Tiger is tied for the most wins in PGA Tour events with 82 and has 15 major championships to his name.

Woods announced the split on Monday on his social media handle

“Over 27 years ago, I was fortunate to start a partnership with one of the most iconic brands in the world. The days since have been filled with so many amazing moments and memories, if I started naming them, I could go on forever,” Woods wrote. “[Former Nike CEO] Phil Knight’s passion and vision brought this Nike and Nike Golf partnership together and I want to personally thank him, along with the Nike employees and incredible athletes I have had the pleasure of working with along the way.”

Nike bid farewell to Woods on Instagram, by posting a picture of him with the words “It was a hell of a round, Tiger”.

Nike went on to add “Tiger, you challenged your competition, stereotypes, conventions, the old school way of thinking. You challenged the entire institution of golf. You challenged us. And most of all, yourself. And for that challenge we’re grateful”.

Nike’s 5-year endorsement contract with Woods in 2000 was worth an estimated $85 million. It was the biggest endorsement contract in sports history at the time.

<img decoding="async" class="alignnone wp-image-34244 size-full" src="https://www.thesportsroom.org/wp-content/uploads/2024/01/Tiger-Woods-Nike-getty.jpg" alt="Tiger Woods " width="768" height="484" title="Where will Tiger Woods go next?
Is Nike trying to get out of the golf business?

Nike stayed loyal to Woods even when a sex scandal drove most of Woods’s other major sponsors like Gatorade, AT&T, and Accenture away from the golf legend, making him lose an estimated $20 million.

Fans are wondering if Nike is trying to get out of the golf business. Nike has stopped selling golf balls and clubs, they only sell golf clothing and footwear now.

Eric Smallwood, president of Apex Marketing Group, also believes in this theory “Why is Nike separating from Woods who has been a long-time brand ambassador for the brand? It could be that Nike is looking to get out of the golf business”.

Nike has stayed with Woods through the highs and lows of his career but the ending of their relationship with Woods came as a bit of a surprise for fans and it made them wonder if it was Nike’s way of announcing their departure from the sport.

Liquid Death, best known for canning water has decided to rename one of its best-selling items. It has been noted that Liquid Death, a parody of the popular Arnold Palmer cocktail, announced on Saturday that its hybrid of half-lemonade and half-ice tea will no longer be referred to as an Armless Palmer. Liquid Death also sells sparkling water in addition to canned water and Dead Billionaire.

The beverage will now be known by the term “Dead Billionaire,” which is more consistent with the Liquid Death brand as a whole.

The owners of the “Arnold Palmer” trademark allegedly threatened Liquid Death’s “Armless Palmer” cocktail with a protracted legal dispute, according to a social media post published by the company.

The late legendary golfer, Palmer is noted to have been one of the first to combine unsweetened tea and lemonade on the pro golf circuit in the 1960s and his likeness has been synonymous with the drink since.

It has been noted that the most popular version of the drink has been bottled and canned by Arizona Beverage Company. That version has been available for purchase since 2002.

“If you like our Armless Palmer tea/lemonade, then you are going to LOVE our new Dead Billionaire tea/lemonade. Why? Because it’s the EXACT same thing, only now it has a way cooler name that won’t require us to fight a senseless legal battle with a large enterprise who sent us a letter saying we can’t use the word ‘Palmer’ and who are also partnered with a giant iced tea corporation. Both of whom have far more $$$ to burn on legal fees than we do,” the company said in its statement.

It added, “Our new Dead Billionaire cans have started to trickle out on Amazon and will begin hitting retail shelves in the spring. Experts are predicting potential brawls in retailers as customers fight over remaining Armless Palmer cans before they become extinct forever and reselling as collectors items for billions of dollars. ☠️💵”

Are you looking for ways to improve your golf game? If yes, then investing in a quality driver would be a great idea. The question is, why should you invest in a driver? Golfers often wonder whether they should spend their money on clubs or other things. For instance, some players prefer buying new clothes instead of expensive equipment. Others might want to invest in different types of clubs instead of a driver. However, spending money on a good driver is always worth it. Investing in a quality driver has several benefits, which will be discussed in this post.

How To Choose A Driver

Drivers are the most critical part of your set because they allow you to hit the ball farther than anything else you carry. Essentially, if you don’t have one, you’ll never go very far. When choosing a driver, there are many factors to consider. Premium options, like TaylorMade SIM2 Drivers, will include high-tech additions such as inertia generators and premium materials. Moreover, they will be perfectly weighted, enabling you to hit the perfect shot every time. When looking for a premium product, you should understand a few factors, including:

Loft angle

Shaft length

Head weight

Shape

Materials used

Do Expensive Drivers Make A Difference To Your Golf Game?

It is important to understand that even the most expensive models aren’t a panacea; they simply allow you to put your skills to use more efficiently. Nevertheless, more expensive drivers can indeed help you get better results. But, when you’re just starting out as a golfer, you shouldn’t worry about your tools. Instead, focus on what you need to do to improve your game. When you master those skills, you should consider buying an expensive driver.

They Are More Comfortable To Use

High-quality golf drivers are made from better materials such as titanium, carbon fiber, and graphite. Thanks to the exotic materials used in these clubs, they are often much lighter than cheaper models. Lighter clubs are easier to swing and give you a better sense of balance while hitting the ball. This will result in fewer mistakes and a more comfortable experience. Moreover, the weight of these clubs also makes them easier to swing while offering greater forgiveness. When you strike the ball with a cheaper driver, you tend to feel the impact more, making it easier to control the ball.

They Can Help You Drive The Ball Further

High-quality drivers allow you to hit the ball farther than cheap drivers, and often the higher the quality of the driver, the longer the distance you can drive. Because high-quality golf drivers are made with better materials, such as titanium which is lighter and stronger than steel, they are better at transferring the energy from the club to the ball. Cheaper clubs have a more flexible shaft and head, meaning they don’t distribute energy as effectively as the more expensive clubs. This can result in a loss of distance on shots when compared to higher-quality clubs.

They Will Make Your Shots More Accurate

If you keep finding yourself hooking or slicing the ball, it could be the driver that’s to blame. While a good workman never blames his tools, the quality of the driver you use can adversely influence your accuracy. They are designed in such a way as to drive your ball further and with far more precision than a lower-quality model could ever do.

They Can Improve Your Confidence (And Therefore Your Game)

Confidence is the key to success in any sport. It is the mental strength that helps you to overcome challenges and succeed. Golfers are no different (amateur or otherwise) and need the confidence to improve and become better players. While no tool can ever replace experience, it can improve your confidence and give you the self-assurance you need to follow through when striking the ball.

They Make It Easier To Hit The Ball

A high-quality driver makes it easier to hit the ball because it usually has a larger surface area, allowing more contact with the ball. They can often do this because the lightweight materials allow designers to increase size without adding weight.

They Are More Durable

If you play golf regularly, you know how much practice you must put in to keep up with the sport. As a result, you will put a lot of strain on your clubs. When you buy cheap drivers, you run the risk of breaking them down quickly. On the other hand, a high-quality driver will last longer and will be more resistant to deterioration. While they may be costly initially, they could save you money over the long run (especially if you look after them).

As you can see from this post, there are plenty of reasons to invest in a better driver. By spending a little extra money, you will be able to improve accuracy and increase the distance of your shots to make your game more enjoyable.

If you are one of the fortunate ones who has taken up golfing, congratulations! Golf is an excellent way to spend some time outdoors and get some exercise. However, it can also be frustrating if you don’t know what you’re doing. This blog post will provide some tips to help you enjoy playing golf even more.

Do your research

One of the things that can make golfing more enjoyable is being prepared. Knowing the course you’re playing and what to expect can take a lot of the stress out of the game. Talk to someone who has played the course before. This way, you’ll know what club to use on each hole and how to approach each shot. Additionally, take the time to explore the web where you may come across the site http://acegolfpros.com/ which provides tips and tricks to help you play your best game. With a wealth of resources available, you are sure to find what you need to up your game.

Get some lessons

Consider taking some lessons from a professional. They can help you with everything from your swing to your mental approach to the game. For instance, a professional can help you find the correct grip and posture for your body type when it comes to your swing. They can also help you stay calm and focused when playing. While it may cost a bit of money upfront, it could be worth it in the long run if you find that you enjoy playing golf more when you’re better at it. The key is finding a reputable instructor to help you improve your game. In this case, consider their experience and qualifications to ensure they’re the right fit for you. You should also read reviews from other students before making your decision.

Invest in the right equipment

Another thing that can make golf more enjoyable is having the right equipment. This doesn’t necessarily mean spending a lot of money, but it does mean getting clubs that are the right size and weight for you and balls that you feel comfortable hitting. For example, if you are on the petite side, you may want to get clubs with shorter shafts. Additionally, it’s essential to ensure your clubs are correctly fitted to work well for your swing. Properly fitted means that the clubs are the right length, lie angle, and loft for you.

You should also dress appropriately and wear comfortable shoes. This means you should have light clothing for hot days and layers for cold days. Some golfers also prefer to wear shoes with spikes to have more traction on the green. But it’s still better to experiment to see what works best for you. With the right gear, you’ll be able to focus on your game and enjoy yourself more.

Be patient

Golf requires patience and practice. If you’re just starting, don’t expect to be a pro immediately. It’s not easy to learn the proper techniques and develop muscle memory to execute the strategies consistently. The key is to enjoy the process and not get too discouraged if you don’t see immediate results. You should also practice when you can. For instance, if you’re working on your swing, head to the driving range and hit some balls. Or, if you’re having trouble with your putting, set up a practice green in your backyard. The more you practice, the better you’ll get and the more fun you’ll have.

Don’t take yourself too seriously

Golf is a game, and it should be treated as such. Don’t get too wrapped up in your score or trying to improve your game. Many people get stressed out and quit because they’re not enjoying themselves. So, focus on enjoying the time you’re spending outdoors and the company you’re with. It’s okay to strive to be better, but don’t let it ruin your enjoyment of the game. Remember that golf is fun, so relax and enjoy yourself. If you make a mistake, laugh it off and move on. The more you can focus on having fun, the better your game will be in the long run. Golf is meant to make sure you’re having a good time.<img decoding="async" class="size-medium wp-image-29117 aligncenter" src="https://www.thesportsroom.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/golf-g2189a9518_1920-300x200.jpeg" alt="You Started Playing Golf? With a bit of time and effort, you’ll be enjoying your rounds of golf in no time. So get out there and give it a try. You might just surprise yourself at how much you want it.

The player stated that she is ‘evolving away from tennis’ after almost a 27 years long profession, with regard to special things which hold more importance in her life.

The 23-times Grand Slam champion indicated about hanging up her tennis racket, most probably after the upcoming US Open. The 40-year-old William attributed golf star, Tiger Woods, in her column on Vogue for helping her to take the decision about calling it a career.

This whole evolution thing has not been easy for me: Serena Williams

In 2021, William injured her leg at Wimbledon. Recently when she felt “the itch to get back on the court” for the first time, she went to 46-year-old Woods who arose with fame in the profession of golf while Williams ascended to the world of tennis.

“I said, ‘I don’t know what to do: I think I’m over it, but maybe I’m not over [tennis],” wrote Williams, “He’s Tiger, and he was adamant that I be a beast the same way he is! He said, ‘Serena, what if you just gave it two weeks? You don’t have to commit to anything. You just go out on the court every day for two weeks and give it your all and see what happens.’ I said, ‘All right, I think I can do that.'”

“I was good. I was really good,” Williams penned of her comeback, “I went back and forth about whether to play Wimbledon, and the U.S. Open after that. As I’ve said, this whole evolution thing has not been easy for me.”

William acknowledged that she “wasn’t ready to win Wimbledon this year,” in her Vogue piece. The mom to 4-year-old Olympia lost a tough comeback match at Wimbledon to Harmony Tan in June. “And I don’t know if I will be ready to win New York,” she continued, “But I’m going to try.”

Ahead of preparing for her final Grand Slam tournament of the season, Williams marked a win over Spain’s Nuria Párrizas Díaz at the Canadian Open.

“I know there’s a fan fantasy that I might have tied Margaret that day in London, then maybe beat her record in New York, and then at the trophy ceremony say, ‘See ya!’ ” Williams wrote of her impending retirement, “… But I’m not looking for some ceremonial, final on-court moment. I’m terrible at goodbyes, the world’s worst. But please know that I am more grateful for you than I can ever express in words. You have carried me to so many wins and so many trophies. I’m going to miss that version of me, that girl who played tennis. And I’m going to miss you.”

Woods, likewise, is currently feeling vagueness about his future career. The golf legend, who has clocked the second highest no of major championship wins (after Jack Nicklaus at 18), hinted that he might have played his last British Open last month after missing the cut and making an emotional exit from Scotland’s Old Course at St. Andrews.

Williams, the mother of 4-year-old Olympia, also acknowledged that she has been “reluctant to admit” to both herself as well her near and dear ones she has to bid adieu to the sport and the Serena Ventures founder added that she is looking to give her focus elsewhere, which include she and her husband Alexis Ohanian planning a second child.

Williams will play at the U.S. Open in New York City, taking place between 29th August and 11th September.

Golf courses are often treated with a variety of chemicals in order to keep them looking green and lush. However, these chemicals can pose a risk to your health if you’re not careful. Here are six ways to protect yourself from the harmful effects of chemicals used on golf courses.

1. Know the chemicals used on a golf course

The first step to protecting yourself from the harmful effects of chemicals used on golf courses is to educate yourself about which chemicals are being used. Many golf courses use a variety of herbicides, pesticides, and fertilizers in order to keep the grass looking green and healthy. However, these chemicals can be dangerous if you’re not careful. Be sure to ask the staff at your local golf course what chemicals they use and how you can avoid them.

Paraquat

Paraquat is a herbicide that is commonly used on golf courses to kill weeds. It is also highly toxic to humans and can cause serious health problems if you’re exposed to it. If you’re concerned about Paraquat being used on golf courses, contact your local golf course and ask if they use it. If they do, take precautions to protect yourself such as wearing long sleeves and pants when you’re on the course.

If you are concerned about exposure to this chemical, there are a few things you can do to protect yourself.

Avoid playing golf on courses that use Paraquat.

If you must play on a course that uses Paraquat, wear long sleeves and pants to protect your skin from exposure.

Try to avoid breathing in any fumes from the herbicide.

Wash your clothes and shoes as soon as possible after playing golf to remove any residual Paraquat.

Shower and wash your hair thoroughly after exposure to remove any chemicals that may have been absorbed through your skin.

If you suspect you have been exposed to Paraquat, seek medical attention immediately. symptoms of Paraquat poisoning include difficulty breathing, chest pain, nausea, and vomiting.

2,4-D

2,4-D is a herbicide that is commonly used on golf courses to control weeds. While it is considered safe when used according to label directions, some studies have linked exposure to 2,4-D with cancer and other health problems.

If you’re worried about exposure to 2,4-D, there are some steps you can take to protect yourself:

Check the course’s website or call the pro shop to find out if 2,4-D is used on the course.

If possible, avoid playing on days when the herbicide is being applied.

If you must play on a day when 2,4-D is being sprayed, try to avoid areas where the spray is being applied.

Wear long sleeves and pants to protect your skin from exposure.

Wash your clothes and golf clubs after playing on a chemically-treated course.

Shower as soon as possible after playing to remove any chemical residue from your skin.

By taking these precautions, you can minimize your exposure to 2,4-D and other chemicals used on golf courses.

Mecoprop (MCPP)

MCPP is a broad-leaved herbicide that is used to control weeds on golf courses. It is important to know if MCPP is used on a golf course because it can be harmful to humans and animals if they are exposed to it. Here are some ways to protect yourself from exposure to MCPP:

Avoid contact with areas where MCPP has been sprayed.

Do not drink or eat anything while you are on the golf course.

If you must go into an area where MCPP has been sprayed, wear a respirator or mask.

Wash your hands and clothing thoroughly after you have been on a golf course.

If you think you have been exposed to MCPP, seek medical attention immediately.

2. Avoiding contact with treated areas

As a general rule, it’s best to avoid contact with treated areas on a golf course. This includes the fairways, greens, and tee boxes. The chemicals used in these areas can be harmful if they come into contact with your skin or eyes. If you can, try to avoid walking or playing on areas of the golf course that have been recently treated with chemicals. If you must walk in these areas, be sure to wear protective clothing, such as long pants and closed-toe shoes. If you accidentally come into contact with any of these chemicals, be sure to wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. You should also remove any clothing that may have been exposed to the chemicals and put it in a sealed bag until you can get it cleaned.

3. Wash your hands and clothes after exposure

If you’ve been exposed to chemicals used on a golf course, it’s important to wash your hands and clothes as soon as possible. This will help remove any chemicals that may be on your skin or clothing.

If you’re going to be in an area that’s been treated with chemicals, it’s a good idea to wear gloves. This will protect your hands from absorption and also keep the chemicals off your skin.

4. Stay hydrated

Drinking plenty of water is one of the best ways to protect yourself from the chemicals used on a golf course, but it’s especially important if you’re exposed to chemicals. The more water you drink, the more diluted the chemicals will be in your body. Water helps to flush toxins from your body and can reduce the risk of harmful effects from chemical exposure.

5. Avoid eating or drinking in treated areas

Pesticides and herbicides can drift onto golf course vegetation, where they may be taken up by plants and concentrated in their tissues. These chemical treatments often have their peak application in preparation for major golfing events like the Presidents Cup, Ryder Cup, or Solheim Cup. If you’re on a golf course that uses chemicals, it’s best to avoid eating or drinking in treated areas. Chemicals can contaminate food and water, so it’s best to err on the side of caution. When you eat or drink something that has been contaminated with these chemicals, you may suffer from nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea.

6. Know the symptoms of chemical exposure

If you’re exposed to chemicals, it’s important to know the symptoms of chemical poisoning. These can include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and dizziness. If you experience any of these symptoms, seek medical attention immediately.Golf courses use a variety of chemicals to maintain their greens and fairways. While these chemicals are necessary for keeping the course in good condition, they can be harmful to your health if you’re not careful. By following the tips above, you can help to protect yourself from the potentially harmful effects of chemical exposure.
