Cralos Sainz is just four points behind his teammate Charles Leclerc despite missing a race due to appendix surgery early in 2024. As Carlos Sainz is making his way out of the Ferrari team to give the seat to eventtime Formula 1 champion Lewis Hamilton from next season. Well, Sainz hasn’t fixed any deals yet but his teammate notices the dominance of Sainz for his team.
“I think it’s as simple as he’s doing a better job,” said Leclerc in FIA press conference.
“In Bahrain it’s difficult to compare because on my side I was facing issues and I think it was a very strong weekend apart from that, on my side. However in the last two races he’s just been stronger.
Carlos Sainz’s 2024 Season
In 2021, Sainz Jr. secured a seat at Scuderia Ferrari alongside Charles Leclerc. The move to Ferrari was a dream come true for the Spaniard, as the team has a rich history and a passionate fan base. Sainz Jr. aimed to prove himself as a worthy teammate to Leclerc.
Sainz has consistently scored points in various races throughout the season. Sainz secured a 3rd place finish at season opener, earning 15 points for Ferrari. Sainz had a fantastic race at the Australian GP, winning the event and adding 25 points to his tally. Another podium finish for Sainz, as he claimed 3rd place and earned 15 points.
His ability to extract the maximum from the car has been crucial for Ferrari’s constructors’ championship aspirations. Overall, Carlos Sainz has been performing well, contributing significantly to Ferrari’s campaign in the 2024 F1 season. His partnership with teammate Charles Leclerc has been highly rated.
