WATCH: Canelo Alvarez Learns Skiing In Colorado

Canelo Alvarez has shown in life that nothing is impossible and, at the age of 32, the Mexican boxing icon learns to ski.

Before his recovery period ends and he returns to training, Canelo is enjoying a vacation with his family in Vail, Colorado. And the undisputed super middleweight champion took the opportunity to put on his skis and learn to walk in the snow, although doing so took him a beating.

In a video that Canelo posted on his Instagram account, he shows what it took for him to learn to walk in the snow.

“First day vs. Second day,” the Mexican wrote in the post, where he can see himself learning in the first moments and how he suffers a painful fall. Canelo went straight ahead, fell, and spun in the snow. And so, with blows, the boxer learned to ski.

Immediately there is a scene where Canelo does it like a professional, with skill and good technique, controlling his body. With completely red clothing, which contrasts with the white of the snow, Canelo was seek skiing without much difficulty.

Canelo Alvarez is expected to fight John Ryder and Dmitry Bivol in 2023

Towards the end of 2022, the boxer’s wife, Fernanda Gómez, posted photographs in which the boxer is seen enjoying the snow, the cold and his daughters. It is expected that after these holidays Canelo will return to training, already recovered from the operation on his left wrist.

The goal is for him to be ready by May and have his first fight of the year, which could be in London against John Ryder. However, the big objective for Canelo is in September and the rematch with Dmitry Bivol, something that is expected to be defined in the coming weeks.
