Former Cowboys Cornerback Brandon Carr Arrested In Texas For DWI

Early morning on Thursday, former NFL cornerback Brandon Carr was arrested in Collin County, Texas, with the charge of Driving under the influence. From year 2008 to 2020, he spent 13 years in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs, Dallas Cowboys and Baltimore Ravens.

TMZ Sports reported, that the Collin County Sheriff’s Office affirmed that around 2:30 a.m. at local time on Thursday, Carr was arrested and was released at 5:30 p.m. the same day after posting a $1,500 bond.

The cornerback Brandon Carr had popularly signed a five-year, $50 MILLION contract with Dallas back in 2012.

As of now no more detailed information is available regarding the arrest. For over 10 years
Carr was a solid starter in the NFL. At first he was picked by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 2008 draft  and subsequently left the team for Dallas after four years.

For six seasons he played for the Cowboys also corresponding seven interceptions and 80 starts for America’s Team.

Prior to finish his career back with the cowboys in 2020 he went on to play for the Baltimore Ravens for three seasons.

Eventually, the 36-year-old went on to play 195 games in his NFL career.
