Anthony Joshua had a meeting with a fan where he seems to confirm that he will fight Deontay Wilder in December.
“Come on Champion. Are you going to beat Wilder?”, Instagram user @kayphysical asked Joshua in a video that he uploaded to his Instagram account.
“That’s what’s happening, you know what’s happening,” Joshua replied somewhat shyly.
“Will it be in December?” the fan further asked, to which Joshua nodded in agreement.
“It is public news, we are doing it. We are doing it for December,” Joshua replied .
“I hope you get that win,” the fan told him.
“God willing,” Joshua responded.

Anthony Joshua vs. Deontay Wilder would be part of a mega fight card
The fight would be part of a mega card in Saudi Arabia where Tyson Fury would take on Oleksandr Usyk, and Anthony Joshua would take on Deontay Wilder on the same night.
Several of those involved have already confirmed that negotiations are underway for this mega card, including Deontay Wilder , his trainer Malik Scott , as well as Eddie Hearn , and now Anthony Joshua himself .
In recent days, Joshua told the English newspaper Metro that, on his side, the fight with Wilder is “95% agreed”.
Deontay Wilder also expressed interest in the Joshua fight , warning that he will knock him out in less than three rounds.
“I’m going to put it sweet,” Wilder told ES News. “I will give the Saudis their first knockout victim. I can deliver that victim to you. They haven’t had a lot of emotions knockout-wise. I am going to give you that blessing. With any Deontay Wilder fight you can expect that, but this one is going to be really special. I have something special that I am going to put to my blow in this one ”.
