Recently, MotoGP shared a video of Espargaro with a cat on the track, captured by the camera as he skillfully avoids a crash with his quick reflexes. MotoGP captioed the incident in their post of X, “ A wonderful display of @AleixEspargaro‘s cat-like reflexes”
Aleix Espargaro Backs Fabio Quartararo Contract
Fabio Quartararo, the talented MotoGP rider, recently made headlines with his decision to re-sign with Yamaha. While some critics questioned his choice, fellow rider Aleix Espargaro has come out in support of Quartararo’s contract renewal.
Aleix Espargaro, currently riding for Aprilia, weighed in on Quartararo’s contract extension. He emphasized that Quartararo’s choice wasn’t just about money. Espargaro acknowledged that the decision-making process involves understanding the cards one holds in this “poker game.” Quartararo’s familiarity with the Yamaha team, having been a world champion with them, played a significant role.
Additionally, Yamaha’s strategic changes, though not immediately noticeable, could yield positive results in the medium term. Espargaro stated, “I don’t see it as so strange that he renewed. In his position, I would have done the same”.
