Adam Cole is undoubtedly one of the greatest stars in pro-wrestling history. His stint in WWE ended after his contract dispute in the company and he later decided to join All Elite Wrestling(AEW). He was immediately allied with The Young Bucks to reunite the SuperKliq stable. The brother duo has been lashed out on multiple occasions for the antics inside and outside the ring and for their outfits as well. Recently, pro-wrestling booker Jim Cornette spoke his mind and lambasted Adam Cole and The Young Bucks for their booking in Tony Khan’s promotion.
Jim Cornette expresses distaste towards Adam Cole
Adam Cole recently recruited his former Undisputed Era stablemate, Bobby Fish. The duo recently came up short against Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus on AEW Rampage. While speaking on the Drive-Thru podcast, Jim Cornette expressed his frustration over AEW’s higher-ups for the way they have booked the former NXT Champion Adam Cole. The angles have been heavily criticized.
Cornette noted that that the angle might eventually lead to a split between Adam Cole and Bobby Fish. The wrestling manager called Cole a ‘comedy’ stooge for The Young Bucks and is extremely displeased with their alliance:
“They’re beating Fish to death. I’m afraid now they’re gonna break up Cole and Fish instead of Cole and the Cucamonga kids, and we’ve gotta watch Adam Cole lower himself to be a comedy stooge to a couple of middle school children…their chronological ages don’t reflect their mental ages because emotionally they’re 12. Their physical size put them more at 10, but they’re middle-aged Jack-offs, and Cole is gonna be with them.”
Cornette further added that Cole used to be his favorite wrestler in NXT but can’t stand any of his matches in AEW so far.
Adam Cole and Bobby Fish are set to once again team-up this week and they will take on the team of Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta in a tag team match. The bout has been scheduled to take place during the Black Friday edition of AEW Rampage.
Last week, The former Undisputed Era members lost their first match together, so it will be interesting to see if they win this Friday. Previously, Adam Cole left Fish in the ring to the hands of The Jurrassic Express. So it won’t be surprising if Fish plans a swerve.
