Colombian singer Shakira spoke about the current events of her life and things about which she sacrificed for the sake of love.
Following an arduous betrayal-connected split from Pique, for the initial time, Shakira spoke about how she is effectively dealing with the present events in her life. The 45-year-old singer found out about Piqué’s disloyalty when her father was in the intensive treatment unit and further at the same time she faced a tax lawsuit in Spain. “It’s all a nightmare,” said the Colombian singer.
She stated in a recent interview with Elle Spain that she is confronting a legal battle for custody of the children with the football player, Milan and Sasha. Additionally, Shakira says that it was difficult for her to live a “normal life” as the paparazzi were in front of her house 24 hours a day. “There is no place where I can hide with my children, except for my house. We can’t go to the park like a normal family or buy ice cream without someone following us. I try to protect them because that is my number one mission in life,” she said.
This year in June, the separation from Pique occurred following 12 years of marriage, and presently he is again in a relationship with a 23-year-old girl this time.
“It’s very difficult to talk about a breakup, especially since this is the first time I’m talking about it in an interview. It’s hard to say because I’m still going through it. Unusual breakup. Shakira asserts to have believed in “happily ever after”, yet it has been bone-tired. “For those women who, like me, believed in values and dreamed of an eternal family, seeing that dream crumble is probably one of the most painful things you can go through,” she said. “I can only say that I put everything I had into this relationship and into my family. Before my kids went to school, I led a nomadic life – touring, performing, promoting my career, building schools in Colombia, and recording in different countries.”
The singer expressed she made a “sacrifice of love” by putting her career on the back heating to commit herself to her family and especially to the player who almost gave his full life to the Barcelona club.
She said, “When Milan started studying in 2014 year, I knew that my travels and my career should be put on the back burner.
