The s*** is so hard: Logan Paul admits WWE is no piece of cake

Las month, Logan Paul shared this glad news on social media with his fans as he posed with the legendary pro wrestler Triple H and his wife Stephanie McMahon, the interim CEO of the organization. The 27-year-old also posted a couple of photos in the snap series with the officials and then by adding a flavor of excitement with his third one, posing with a piece of paper that read, “Coming 4 U @Miz.”

In the past few months, Paul has acquired the trait of being a ruffian and TMZ Sports had reached out to him about any misbeliefs regarding the pro wrestling top dog promotion, and the superstar made it clear that the ring is no walk in the park.

“Yeah dog, the s*** is hard!!” said Logan, “The s*** is so hard! I come from the non-WWE Universe. So, I know what people say about it, I know what people think about it before I entered. Like, I came from that place. And, now that I’m in it, my jaw has dropped.”

“It is such a difficult discipline that your body is simply not used to unless you do it for years,” he added.

Logan also added that the feats his fellow grapplers have achieved have left him spellbound while hinting that he has some signature moves up his sleeves as well, which he wants to execute in the squared circle. However, he did insist that pro wrestling is more than just physical agility- and that is to have the showman mindset to go along.

“You can’t just be a performer, physically,” Logan went on, “You have to be a showman. You have to go out there and get people excited with your voice, and then show up on the day and perform physically, and fight someone. It’s difficult.”

The WWE SummerSlam will take place at 5 PM PT this Saturday at the Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tennessee. Tune in to see Logan Paul using all of his skills against The Miz.

Brock Lesnar is likely to stay until 2023

Brock Lesnar made a huge surprise return to WWE as he immediately confronted Roman Reigns following his successful Universal Title defense against John Cena in the main event of SummerSlam. It seems he is set to feud with ‘The Tribal Chief’ for the title.

Recent reports stated that the return of ‘The Beast Incarnate’ was a last-minute call. His deal came together at the last minute so that SummerSlam would have a big moment to close the show. New details regarding his latest contract have emerged.

According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, Brock Lesnar is now under contract with WWE for “roughly a year and a half, and at least eight matches,” but the contract is open to being renegotiated and changed if the company want him to work in more matches within that timeframe.

After an absence of long sixteen months, Brock Lesnar made his return to the comapny. There have been multiple talks regarding his contract negotiations with the company. This is the longest that Lesnar’s been away from WWE since 2012.

It has also been confirmed that WWE will position Lesnar as a babyface on SmackDown starting this Friday as he reignites his long on and off again feud with Roman Reigns. This is the first time in the history of their feud that the roles will be reversed.

Samoa Joe opens up Brock Lesnar

The recently crowned WWE NXT Champion Samoa Joe recently had nothing but praise for Brock Lesnar, as he referred the WWE Universal Champion as one of the most incredible athletes he’s shared the ring with.

The two heavyweights had battled each other in a singles competition for the first time at the Great Balls of Fire pay-per-view in 2017 for the Universal Championship. Brock Lesnar successfully defeated Samoa Joe to retain his Title.

During an exclusive interview with GiveMeSports, Samoa Joe lauded his arch-rival Brock Lesnar. Here is what he had to say:

Nikki Bella reveals what she was actually doing instead of watching the match

This year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view took place in Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is needless to say often stars try their luck in playing roulette when they are in the mentioned city. Nikki Bella also could not hold back herself and tried it out.

Speaking with Extra, Nikki Bella claimed that she missed Cena’s match as she was too busy playing roulette:

“You know, I actually have to say when you’re in Vegas, the tables took me away. I was too busy playing roulette, and I was winning big. So I missed it,” said Nikki Bella.

Previously, in one of her Instagram posts, Nikki Bella had claimed that she was not allowed to visit the venue of SummerSlam. Posting a picture of herself, she wrote: “When you’re not allowed to go to SummerSlam in Vegas….. lol.” Nikki, the twin sister to Brie Bella, did not offer any more details about not going to SummerSlam.

Nikki Bella and John Cena were in a long-term relationship during their time together in WWE. Cena had also surprisingly proposed to her at WrestleMania 33 in front of the entire WWE Universe.

However, they called off their relationship in April 2018, just one month before their scheduled wedding. Regardless of the split, Nikki has publicly said that she’s still friends with Cena.

John Cena lost to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam

John Cena had made his shocking return to the company last month in the final minutes of the Money in the Bank pay-per-view and confronted Universal Champion Roman Reigns. After building up the match for weeks, in the main event of SummerSlam 2021, he challenged Reigns for his title but was unsuccessful in defeating him.

The former WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar ended up making a return after the main event of ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’. Becky Lynch had requested to turn heel

Becky Lynch had been away from WWE since Raw after Money In The Bank last year due to pregnancy. She had relinquished the WWE Raw Women’s Championship to Asuka and used to portray a babyface persona.

But, upon her return at ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’, it seemed that ‘The Irish Lass Kicker’ has turned heel. She squashed ‘The EST of WWE’ in under 26 seconds to win the title but originally Sasha Banks was scheduled to compete at the event. Fans have not been happy with the decision of the booking by WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

In a report from Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Becky Lynch’s heel turn was something that she herself requested, which the company apparently granted. According to earlier reports, it was said that the Irish Superstar would be positioned as a heel going forward, and she will officially be a part of the SmackDown brand. WWE initially had plans for Lynch to return in October, but Sasha Banks’ absence changed the plans.

“PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple WWE sources that Becky Lynch is now a heel,” Johnson wrote. “Yes, you read that correctly. We are told that going forward, Lynch will be positioned as the top heel on Smackdown, initially feuding with Bianca Belair.”

On the Hall of Fame podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Booker T had also mentioned that he did not enjoy how the match was booked. He also questioned the title run of Bianca Belair which came to an abrupt end.

He said: “I never know which way they are gonna go on it, or why they are going the route they go. I’m just as in the dark and confused as everyone else.”

We will see what is next for Becky Lynch as eyes will be set for this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

John Cena breaks his silence after losing at SummerSlam

John Cena took to social media to address the defeat. He showed his appreciation towards the WWE Universe for allowing him the opportunity to return and perform once again.

In his tweet, Cena also thanked the staff members of WWE and also showed his appreciation towards the fellow stars and most importantly towards the fans.

The 16-time World Champion thanked his fans for giving him a memorable summer at “home” with his “family”. Cena concluded his tweet by stating that his journey will take him away now, which indicates that he will go on a hiatus.

Cena concluded his heartfelt message by assuring the fans that he will see them soon, whenever the former world champion once again returns to WWE TV.

Summer of Cena has seemingly come to an end

John Cena had made his return WWE Money in the Bank pay-per-view and was involved in a feud with Roman Reigns after his successful defense of the WWE Universal Championship against Edge at Money in the Bank.

The Summer of Cena was being promoted by WWE and they released a list of Cena appearaces including at the live events. After weeks of build up, Cena and Reigns collided at SummerSlam in Las Vegas.

‘The Leader of Cenation’ is currently scheduled for the September 10 SmackDown taping at Madison Square Garden. As per to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, WWE’s higher-ups are aware that beyond the MSG show, Cena is done with future appearances for the company because of his filming commitments. He is also set to star in Matthew Vaughn’s upcoming spy film, Argylle.

Brock Lesnar makes a comeback to WWE

Roman Reigns and John Cena had a brutal battle in the main event of SummerSlam. All the hype and build-up led to the epic showdown between two of the greatest stars of the company.

Reigns had raised the stakes of the match as he had stated that if he had lost the match then he would leave WWE. But, that did not happen as John Cena could not dethrone ‘The Tribal Chief’ and fell another victim to the WWE Universal Champion.

After keeping the fans to the edge of the seats and multiple near pinfalls, it was Roman Reigns who left Allegiant Stadium as the WWE Universal Champion.

But just when everyone thought the night was over, in came ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar to a great reception from the Las Vegas crowd. He marched down the ramp and entered the ring to have an epic staredown with the WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

It is not unknown that Lesnar and Cena were involved in a fierce rivalry in the past. After the show went off-air, ‘The Beast’ sent John Cena to ‘Suplex City’. Video clips started circulating Lesnar attacking Cena with Suplex.

What is next?

It is likely that Reigns and Lesnar would be involved in a feud and ‘The Beast Incarnate’ is eyeing to capture the WWE Universal title. With Paul Heyman in the mix, it would be interesting to see how the story pans out between Reigns and Lesnar.

It is to be noted that Heyman is currently ‘The Special Counsel’ to Roman Reigns. But, earlier he was the on-screen advocate of Brock Lesnar.

Earlier in the night, it was Becky Lynch, who made her much-awaited return to the company. She went on to challenge Bianca Belair for the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship and captured the title.

Becky Lynch finally returns to WWE

Becky Lynch had been teasing the fans for a long time about her return to WWE. The fans had speculated about her return at ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’ as she had been tight-lipped recently.

‘The Man’ had been on a hiatus due to pregnancy after she relinquished the WWE RAW Women’s Championship to last year’s Money In The Bank winner Asuka at RAW after the pay-per-view.

Bianca Belair had come out as per the scheduled match against Sasha Banks but it was announced that ‘The Boss’ could not compete and revealed Carmella as the replacement.

But, just before the start of the title match, Becky Lynch’s music hit. She came out to huge reception from the Las Vegas crowd at Allegiant stadium.

She was certainly eyeing to win the gold back and that might have brought her back. She laid down Carmella with a brutal attack and challenged ‘EST of WWE’ for the title, which she accepted.

In what could be considered as one of the major upsets in WWE history, Becky Lynch squashed Bianca Belair in just 26 seconds and emerged victorious to capture the WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship.

The outcome of the match not only stunned the fans but they were totally baffled with the booking decision of WWE.

Fans slam the booking decision

The fans were certainly amped up with the return of ‘The Man’ but the fact that Bianca Belair was not put in a full match and getting squashed by Lynch in few seconds have gotten the fans furious.

One of the fans wrote: “That match could’ve been longer and better…. #SummerSlam”

Another fan accused WWE of being racist. “It’s not about Bianca losing, it’s how she lost. #SummerSlam #WWE you screwed your whole show up being racist”, the fan said.

A fan further opined on letting Triple H make the match decisions instead of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.

She gave birth to baby Roux back in December and is currently gearing up for the highly anticipated return to the squared circle. Many reports stated that she was in attendance at this year’s Money In The bank pay-per-view, potentially showed up backstage. ‘The Man’ has been teasing the fans about her return and many believe she would return at SummerSlam which is scheduled for this Saturday.

Vince Russo terms Becky Lynch’s return as the ‘biggest bullet in the gun’

On the most recent edition of Legion of RAW with Dr. Chris Featherstone, Vince Russo shared his thoughts on the return of Becky Lynch. He believes that Lynch’s TV return will get a massive pop from the WWE Universe.

However, according to Vince Russo, he is concerned that Lynch would be booked for insignificant matches on WWE programming.

Vince Russo namedropped the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion Nikki A.S.H, who had cashed in her Money In The Bank contract on Charlotte Flair to win the title. But, it seems she is likely to drop the title at SummerSlam when she would have to defend it against the former champions, Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match.

Seth Rollins had earned his way in the main roster of WWE after a successful stint in NXT, as he was the inaugural NXT Champion.

Ahead of SummerSlam this weekend, Seth Rollins sat down with Miguel Leiva of Planeta Wrestling to discuss all WWE. When asked what advice Rollins would give his younger self, he admitted that he would tell himself to slow down.

He responded that he would have advised to slow down his momentum. The former WWE Champion explained, that advice would not have seen him skipping his days of work.

He revealed that early on in his career, he did not get the chance to enjoy to the fullest about the happenings around him.

‘The Architect’ said: “I probably would have told myself to slow down a little bit,” Seth Rollins said. “And not in the sense that I need to take more days off or anything like that, but man, the first few years of my career, I didn’t really get a chance to fully enjoy what was going on around me.”

Seth Rollins further added that he was ‘hyper-focused’ to climb the ladder of success. He added: “Yeah, I was so hyper-focused on ascending the ladder and getting myself in a position where I could be at the top of the food chain in WWE, and you know that’s very stressful sometimes, so I just didn’t take the time to enjoy the little things as they were happening to me.”

Rollins earned fame in the main roster being part of The Shield stable alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose. Rollins is a Triple Crown Champion, a Grand Slam Champion, and is the only wrestler to have held all three of WWE’s current world titles (WWE, Universal, and NXT Championships). He will face the WWE Hall of Famer Edge at Saturday’s SummerSlam event.

However, it turns out the former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion, Dustin Poirer is not aware of ‘The Tribal Chief’ but quite interestingly has ‘heard’ about the 16-time World Champion John Cena.

Dustin Poirier admits not knowing Roman Reigns but knows John Cena

The UFC star Dustin Poirier recently revealed that he does not know the headliners of the upcoming SummerSlam pay-per-view, Roman Reigns and John Cena. While speaking with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, he was asked if he watches WWE and to that question, he said that he is guilty of not following WWE.

Poirier said: “No I do not. I don’t, man, I don’t. Guilty.”

‘The Diamond’ was informed more about the ‘The Biggest Party of The Summer’. Helwani continued by mentioning that Reigns will be going up against Cena at this year’s SummerSlam pay-per-view. To this, Poirier admitted that he had heard Cena’s name.

Dustin Poirier said: “I know that name, I know that name.”

While, SummerSlam will see one of the biggest showdowns with Reigns and Cena, the UFC star himself was part of ‘The Biggest Pay-per-view’ of UFC as he had collided with arch-rival Conor McGregor in a trilogy at UFC 264.

But, that ended in a huge disaster and did not live up to the expectations of the fans as ‘The Notorious One’ had suffered a broken leg. This caused the referee to stop the match and Poirier was awarded the win via TKO.

Roman Reigns could cement his legacy at SummerSlam

‘The Head of The Table’ will defend the WWE Universal Championship against Cena in Las Vegas this weekend. The pair will collide in a huge singles match at SummerSlam on August 21.

It was at last year’s SummerSlam when Reigns made his return to the company and since then, he has been a dominant force in the company after winning the WWE Universal Championship at Payback last year. He has successfully defended his title against some huge stars of the company already and his next test lies against John Cena.
